Title: Anybody ever try this, really like it Post by PhoenixRa on Jan 19th, 2006 at 1:49am
Dunno if this belongs here, but since toning is often an important part of raising ones vibrations to be able to perceive the Afterlife...lol i guess there is a loop hole which may allow this here 8)
Anyways, just wondering if anyone has tried Toning while submerged in the bath-tub? Pretty intense, really resonates the entire body, and gets things a flowing. Especially with some large pieces of clear quartz in there. Well anyways, i like it, though i try not to take too many baths to help save on water. Super Goat Dude, "Mmhhawww....Bhawww" |

I haven't tried that Justin but I think I will. Makes sense as water always reflects spiritual aspects. And crystals added would add to the effect.
I usually take showers and always give gratitude and love to the water for healing every cell in my body. Namaste, Mairlyn ;-) |

Hey Mair,
Let me know how you like it ok? Yup and double yep, water is the most receptive of the 4 elements, and acts a energy 'container' or memorizer of sorts. Its also interesting that the 3 water signs of the Zodiac tend to be the most psychic, Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces (Cancer and Pisces are extremely 'feminine' signs too). When these are strong, there is often at least a strong intuition, if not overt and obvious psychism... Sometimes they are just very good at reading people and situations, and can act from the gut (and/or heart). Neptune, considered a 'water' planet, is perhaps the most psychically sensitive energy there is in our little system of Big clock indications. Cayce and Moen both have a very, very powerful Neptune in their charts (though Uranus was technically the strongest energy for Cayce, Uranus is very 'psychic' too). Have always loved water A LOT, though for awhile when young i was scared of being submerged especially in large bodies of water like a pool, ocean, etc. |

Do a search on google.com and you will come up with all kinds of websites with the healing properties of crystals, stones, etc.

I love those two kinds of crystals :) Yep, i use a piece of clear quartz in the bath while "Toning"...toning is vibrational chant (using primarily the vowel sounds, though H as in "ahhh" and Mmm are great additions) which has the affect of activating the various Centers connected to the human system (centers meaning the interaction of the 7 major Endocrine glands in the body with the 7 major Chakras which 'run' through the other 4 major bodies we have--etheric, emotional, mental, and spiritual). I also put in some baking soda, because this further increases the recptiveness nature of the water... cause baking soda is alkaline, which means it has a primarily 'negative' charge...which you can think of as being more feminine and receptive in nature... lol makes the water more watery.... Since i am meditating while doing this, and meditation is a receptive state of being, this helps to align my energy to that balance, which sense being male and primarily masculine or 'positive' in nature (you don't have to be a man to be primiarly positive in charge, some women are primarily positively charged too), i can use this greater balance--this 'aid'. Anyways, i second Mair's advice, and i also like to point out that stones, etc. are just aids, and aren't completely necessary... You can get great results without them, but they seem to help to focus, increase, and/or harmonize energy it seems... And clear quartz is great for anyone cause it can harmonize with any energy/vibration... Clear Quartz can be thought of as the materialization of the White Light/Source energy, both perfectly receptive and active in nature... Other stones, colored stones you should only use if you are drawn to the color and tone of that particular stone.... If the medium you went to, was a good one, then they could pick up on your auric emanations and percieved that amethyst would harmonize and strengthen your particular energy... In other words, if you have a lot of purple, violet, and or amethyst like vibrations in your aura, then a purple stone like Amethyst would be great for you, 9 out of 10 times this holds true. But some people generically hand out stones, often because they like them, or think they are helpful etc... Really it should be more personalized, and go more by your own attraction.. Me for example, my primarily energy now is mostly deep blue and indigo shades, and i wear and am very attracted to a stone called Azurite (my piece is deep blue/indigo)... This stone powerfully resonates with and stimulates the Pineal gland, and 6th Chakra, which also corresponds to this very deep, indigo blue energy (this Chaka also resonates with golden yellow energy). I've tried wearing other stones in the past, and always lose them, or the break off...happens to often for it to be coincidence...and has never happened to my Azurite...a clear sign from guidance, "this is the stone primiarly for you.." Since i've been wearing it, my intuition has become more and more an automatic knowing at a deep level, a strong feeling response, though sometimes with flashes of visualization, thought words, and automatic like writing. More and more i am drawn to use clear quartz though, and i think i will start wearning a piece of this.... Hope this helps a bit Deanna, and btw, welcome to the Group. :) You seem like a very sweet, kind hearted, and sensitive person. Lol Spitfire, you must be shaking your head at me, "man he's just as crazy as the rest of them..." Yep, i'm pretty out there now in a lot of respects, have changed a lot from being the super left brained, and logical young kid i use to be. I like talking to you, you help to keep me grounded....cause sometimes i swing too far out into the right brain 'irrational' territory. In the end, its all a balancing act eh? Either way, i think i'm in great company on both sides :P ;D |

There is a nice energy on this thread. Blue is also my favorite color. I have clear quartz and pink quartz on my desk. Justin, I tried the toning a little bit and it is an amazing sensation, so thanks for that.

On the topic of blue stones, I love Lapis Lazuli, it's on the other end of my crystal pendulum. I'm also a big fan of amethyst and turquoise (sp?). Anyway, facinating idea the toning. I've never tried it how does one do it or do you know a webpage that advises how to do it? My dh and dd will think I've gone right over the edge when I do try it, lol, but what the heck they've been expecting that for years!
Thanks! happygrl |
Title: Re: Anybody ever try this, really like it Post by PhoenixRa on Jan 30th, 2006 at 4:19am
Hi there happygrl :)
Toning is really, really easy... Just experiment with growling the vowel sounds...kind of like in the back of your throat..so that it really vibrates your throat.... There is a Universal Toning which is pretty good to start with..... Ahhhh Ohhh Mmmmm, and as you 'growl' it, really 'feel' the vibration of it and concentrate on it as you do it.... But once you practice a bit... just experiment and let yourself be drawn to whatever comes to mind for you, or you feel like Toning... mix up some combinations, etc. For most people, myself included, this is more a way to 'charge up' with energy, and then i meditate more silently, and try to remember the feeling or a memory of *Love*...and it helps to kind of smile when you do it, and before you know it, it will be a real smile, and you will be even more relaxed. Hope this helps... Hey btw, love Lapis too... Its kind of similar to that stone i mentioned, Azurite, except that in my experience Azurite is even more powerful.... This latter stone is not to be 'messed' with, as it is very strong and almost like a consciousness altering 'chemical', especially for sensitive folks... I had some energy blocks when i first starting wearing it, and i got an intense headache in my forehead area a little while after putting it on, which lasted for a few hours (i rarely, rarely ever get headaches).... My very skeptical and grounded girlfriend, laughed at me, and i had her wear it... she got a headache too, after about 15 or so minutes. Hey, its great to see so many *Blues* out there... Reminds me of one of Bruce's books where he is talking to the nonphysical Monroe, and is doing a TMI program which is going awesomely and really mind expanding.. And Monroe points out something like, "Well didn't you notice all the Spiritual Blue light types here?" Yup... i'm blue dada dee da da blue daddadee blue.... (older really annoying catchy 'techno' song an ex use to listen to....NONSTOP! ::) ;D ) Take care all you blue Light Neptunians, Uranians, and Jupitarians... (Venus is kind of blue too, but more pastel) |

The information offered from this thread has made me really happy. Lately, I have been experiencing many synchronicities in both numerology and symbolism, as well as daily sights and sounds occuring around me. What I have just read tonight is no exception.
I have been carrying a clear quartz crystal with me during the past 20 years, but I didn't know why. I have never studied crystal teachings or astrology, but I'm open minded to the possibilities of those sciences. I am a Scorpio and I was born in a town called Neptune. When I was young, my family and I went swimming in the ocean on many occasions, and I am always happy and energetic even now when swimming in water. I think I will do some study of crystals and astrology now to see what I may be able to learn. :) Sincerely, Ralph |

Hi there Ralph,
Am glad you enjoyed this thread, and it matched up with some recent syncronicities... Nice to see you around btw... As regards astrology... Its a good way to help to more objectively look at self, and ones more unconscious tendencies... (especially look to the Moon, and Water houses, signs, and/or planets for those themes). And when i first started studying astrology, it really strengthened those initital feelings and intuitions i had had about the connectedness of all of the Universe... There is amazing syncronicity to often be seen in astrology... But, in the end, its just another belief system.... Take care, Justin (i was formerly "Justin2710") |

Hello Justin.
Thank you for your kind words. I used to think that astrology was all delusional misconceptions, but now I have a better understanding as to it's true purpose. Since I've been learning new concepts, it's about time to revisit old studies. The search for wisdom is never ending, which is fine with me. I love to learn new things. Soon I wil be creating my own website. Then I can replace the cartoon with my picture. I've been busy lately trying to obtain new employment. Nice talking to you and may everyone's quest for knowledge and wisdom be succesfull. Sincerely, Ralph |

Nice talking to you too old friend. Probably friends and co-workers in Atlantis and in Egypt at some point(s)....
Some good astro. books in my experience: Stephen Arroyo's Chart Interpretation Handbook. Isabel M. Hickey's Astrology A Cosmic Science is pretty good. The Astrologers Handbook by Sakonian and Acker is pretty good. And once you get the basics more down, Stephen Arroyo's Astrology, Karma, and Transformation is perhaps the best more metaphysical astrology book i have ever read. Btw-- One big problem i have found in astrology, which you will probably not see in any of the commercial type books out there...(or even in these books i mentioned) Is the question of the validity of "first breath" Most astrologers out there believe that a chart has to be calculated for the exact moment of first breath, or right when a person is born... It may be a little more complicated than that unfortunately... I've found in my own research, and in studying the Edgar Cayce readings, that it is not so black and white as that... Often the Soul does 'complete' the personality close to actual physical birth, but not always... (i've found on average about 25 to 35% percentage of charts need to be majorily adjusted) There can be many hours difference both ways (before, or after physical birth)... This makes things a little more tricky, but i have developed a fairly consistent, specific, and holistic system of physical look indications of the birth chart, which are most related to what astrologers call the "Rising" or "Ascendant" sign.. This factor corresponds to that actual exact time of birth... Basically, if when you look into things, and your Rising Sign doesn't 'fit you' much, and there are no Planets close to it (within 12 degrees), then it might not actually be your Rising. In that case, you can contact me and i can give you a suggestion or two, this doesn't take long and its free of charge. I have also written many in-depth and unique articles on astrology relating it to other metaphysics theories, so if you are interested i can send some via email... But it might help to read one or two books, do some I-net research, etc. to get a handle on the basics a little first, otherwise my ramblings just might confuse the heck out of you. Seemingly there are many, many astrology books out there which focus on more shallow and purely personality themes--nor very indepth or intelligent, nor have i seen a lot of very good stuff on the I-net (from my perspective). Course you have the magazines and newspapers ::) In Light, Justin |

Hello Justin.
Thank you for all of the good information. I will attempt to get those books when I can afford to go shopping. I've been letting my reading material spontaneously lead me where to go next, so I guess astrology is the next study. Maybe that's what I need in order to interpret all of the synchronicities I've been experiencing lately. I am trying hard not to get any delusions of grandeur, but I have had some quite extraordinary revelations the past few weeks, with surprising spiritual overtones; even though I've come to the state of mind thinking that all religions are just man made. About 25 years ago I read a book in a library on astrology which was written by someone (can't remember the book) who gave descriptions for each day of the year for each year someone was born. My birthday is 11/09/1959. I was very surprised that the description the author of the book gave for someone born that day fit me almost perfectly. I wish I had taken notes. Oh well. That should have been a hint, but I was only 21 years old then. Live and learn I suppose. Sincerely, Ralph |

That's wild, talk about syncronicity, I just started looking more in depth into astrology, LOL, too funny! Anyway thanks for the pointers Justin I will try this in the bath next. I didn't realize you were talking about that kind of toning, which I use in my regular meditation. Will also bring along the lapis as it's an excellent stone for meditation for me. Will also try the azurite, definetly feel a pull for that stone whenever I'm at the stone/gem shop.
Thanks again happygrl |
