What do I have to do to get more impressions.It would be nice to get as maney as we can.Do I have to metitate more or do I juat wait untill they come to me?Any thoughts.George

Are you asking because you haven't been getting many  impressions lately? Because sometimes the meditation   process gets so routine that we forget to focus on what we're doing there--that's what's happened to me anyway at several points along the way. The intent to meditate might require some new techniques once in a while just to keep focused.

Just at thought: try expressing the *intent* to receive more impressions. Maybe even out loud or in writing. I think if couldn't hurt if you ask for clear, unmistakable impressions.

Also, I like Bob Monroes technique of starting with an "energy transformation box". Imagine a box and imagine your self placing in that box anything that will get in the way of your receiving impressions, then close the box and feel yourself turning away. Then proceed with the meditation....

You may already do this, but if not, it is worth a try.

One person answered you have to give yourself that intent, good advice.
Not that meditation is of utmost importance into which to implement that intent.  You simply need to be aware and acknowledge that your having the intent to receive more impressions.
The fact of the matter, though, is that you are constantly recieving impressions anyways from ...places...within yourself.
Firstly,
You have to have the intent  to notice that and also understand there has to be a way to perceive and recognize when and what the impression is you are receiving and from where and how and for what reason you are receiving it.

..But, a question is in order before i can tell you how to get more impressions.
What kind of impressions are you looking for and for what reason are you looking for them? :)

How do you get more impressions concerning what?

Let me know your answer and I'll tell what you are not understanding in order to adjust your perception into an awareness where you notice the impressions, intuitions, and knowledge being communicated constantly.

You will not need a guide to tell you that. You know what you can and cant do.
And what you cant do is understand your recieving impressions, before that, though you are also holding beliefs that are dictating what you can or cant do? Correct?...
beliefs such as judgement and morality and ethics.. possibly.... Right or wrong basically, yes?
