Title: Beginner that needs help
Post by BrandonBrain101 on Jan 5th, 2006 at 12:23am
Hey guys.
I just started getting into this stuff and I bought The After Life knowledge guidebook and Voyages into the unknown is on its way in the mail. My question is. How do i see the stuff in my mind. Picutres of people and things like that. I cant do it. Is the only way to do it to astraly project?

I thought everyone was able to visualise, that is, to see images of people and whatnot, in their mind's eye?

I just do it. I don't think it's absolutely necessary for astral projection though.

You don't have to get info just through visuals, and all that.

Sometimes some hear things, or just get feelings, or a knowingness about certain things.

Sometimes its a mix of a few, or all of the above.

But the more you practice visualization, the easier it becomes and the more it seems real to you...

You literally are exercising your psychic Pineal gland when you "imagine" and visualize, and its like a muscle....

In most people, the Pineal is rather atrophied from non use, but some people because of the amount of certain things they do, like meditation, visualization, or deep theoretical thought (like a theoretical physicist or mathemitician) they strengthen this particular gland and its secretions.

There are artificial ways to open this center up, but these can cause a lot of harm, because they force it too much....  Its like giving a weak and atrophied heart a shot of adrenalin without a good reason.

LSD, and other drugs like that will open it up, but are very dangerous so i don't recommend them.

Some have even resorted to drilling holes through the forehead which is called a trepidation, but yeah, don't recommend that one ;)

There is a certain food which seems to stimulate this gland, and i've yet to really deeply experiment with it even though my guidance keeps giving me dream messages about it.

Its called "mummy food" and is just a mix of chopped dried figs, chopped dried dates, with a little (very little) cornmeal, millet, or what not, cooked in water for about 15 minutes on medium heat, then add a little almond, soy, goat milk, or watered down yogurt (i don't ever recommend cow milk because it is very hard to digest because of the Casein proteins and lactose suger).

Tastes good to me, takes a little time to prepare, which is why i haven't been consistent with it.  But the times where i ate it for a few days, i had crazy dream activity, which is an indication of an increase of activity of the Pineal gland.

Hi there   :)

No astral projection isn't necessary.  You will love reading Bruce's books.  You will fly through them, and they are very well written and easy to understand.

Everyone can visualize in their mind to some degree.  Try this:  While you are looking at your computer screen, try thinking of what your bedroom looks like, or your mom, or your dog, etc.  That is one basic form of visualizing.  It might be even easier to do with your eyes closed but it's the same.

If you are talking about seeing actual visions, like 3D and full color, just-like-physical-eyesight pictures,  I think it is possible to learn it, especially once you learn to get your body relaxed enough.  There are a lot of CD's to help you learn to relax and focus too.

Hey Justin!

You snuck in and posted while I was preparing my post---Anyway, I think the word is "trapanation".

Also keep in mind that Bruce Moen didn't have the full blown OBE experiences that he wanted to have himself, for a long time.

My belief is that the more intune you are spiritually, the less chance of having one of those physical, real world like OBE's...

Because you are tapping into faster vibrating energies than the etheric, which is what corresponds to a classic OBE...

So yeah, lack of these kinds of OBE's can actually signify a deeper intuness.  Like Bob Monroe, when he first started this, he had very intense, physical like OBE's, but after a while started to just "phase" more into his mental energies, which seem to have a detachment quality about it.

Bruce's methods seem to deal mostly with the mental body and energies, so many who use his methods don't tend to have these classic OBE's.

They're not necessary, even though they sound really kool, and all that.

Its pretty darn kool just to get info in various ways about things you couldn't know about.

Either way, good luck in your explorations, and like Vicky, i'm sure you'll enjoy Bruces books--he's seems to be a good and down to earth teacher.

Hah hah ;D  Beat you to it... You're probably right about the actual phrase...lol either way, don't go drilling holes in your forehead, unless you happen to fall head first into a long nail sticking out of a board. ::)

Good to see you around btw :)

Hey yeah everyones pretty much covered it but a simple exercise you can do now while your waiting for the afterlife knowledge guidebook is just to lay down quieting and relax, take deep breaths and feel your body relax, focus on every part and relax it if you need to. And just feel like you going to sleep. Then just imagine a scene of a anything, what you did today and really feel it, imagine you are there, experience everything and this is a start to meditation, going OBE/projecting, Phasing and just imagination, this practice will give you some results after a while. If ya lucky straight away.

Good Luck!

Hey guys.
Thanks alot for the help. I can visualize but if you cannot see what is happening in 3d full blown picture then how do you know that other things are happening, For example if i cant see whats going on in full color then how do i know whats going on in the visualization

hey,

just a quick note. Your tell because in your imagining your get show a few pictures like you do while your thinking now and with feelings it will piece together and make sense.

For now just trust everything and nothing is irrelavant, specially in the learning process.

BrandonBrain101,

Not all the information you receive has to come visually.  Most of what you understand will come through feeling and knowing.
