I thought of something else regarding chronic pain (as discussed on another thread). I didn't want to take over the other thread, so I'm starting another one here.

Your higher self will work with you and help you get better, if you work with it.

One night during the early part of my recovery process, I had a dream about some really hurtful memories. I couldn't remember the specifics when I woke up: just the fact that the dream had to do with some hurtful emotional issues.  Immediately after coming to this conclusion, I felt a significant amount of negative energy exit my navel chakra.  I could sense that the energy release was triggerd by the dream.

As long as you're really willing to look at and let go of the issues that are troubling you, you're higher self can work with you to get rid of pain causing psychological issues.

Since dreams are created by our higher self (as opposed to by a freud like subconscious mind), our higher selves can use dreams to work on us.

just backing u up again Albert..this happened to me too..we really seem to be on a similar path here...I was holding energy of a negative hurtful thing in the solar plexus area also..it went back to childhood, and I'm now 59 so i was surprised I had not released all of that apparently.
this solar plexus area is facinating. its one of the chakras of the physical body in case nobody knows that. a chakra is an energy portal. we generally can hold hurts there in that area, speaking of myself. this energy can look like black goopy stuff according to Bruce's books, within the astral, while obe-ing. if u see it and you do healings or get healings, the healer is supposed to "see it not there." better than trying to pull it off by hand. this will start a healing process in the physical area as well.
absentee healings are occurring more frequently out there. more of you should begin this adventure, to experiment with one another in being an absentee healer is not so hard. one time a most remarkable healing occurred to me regarding the solar plexus, the seat of "gut feelings."
a friend removed the sad negative energy in the gut out there..I was totally pleasantly surprised..how did u do that? I asked.
on the one hand this energy was a part of my identity, on the other, when it was removed, I was free to make myself anew, without the weight of it there in the gut. nuetral as it were, but still a little blown away it could be so easy to start anew.
thanks for putting this thread over here, it deserves it's own place. it did seem vastly important to discover it's inception, the belief system that develops from what we are holding onto in an identity sense.

PA..dreams can inform, inspire, direct, give clues to where u will live next, help u with relationships..too many to list. have to write another book about it. are all dreams from higher self? some dreams are from another's higher self as we are all connected within that realm. how I started is to write down every dream, return to it later to see if it had further relevance to my now situation..in this way the dreams developed themselves as I asked more questions as to their purpose, if any. all I was doing was showing that I was open to learn more about my dreams by writing them down..they slowly got more profound and started to predict certain events in my life, but always related directly to the thoughts I entertained within C1, so soon could not make a division of the subconscious and the conscious. and it continues to close, that gap.

"absentee healings?" "not so hard"..... What are we waitin for?  Any suggestions where I should begin learning more about it?  And do you know of much success with a subconciously "reluctant" target?  thanks again.

I've analyzed about 300 dreams this past year. I was able to figure out the meaning of all but a few.

Here are some reasons as to why I knew they were created by an intelligence that is beyond my ego's intelligence:
1. They told me things that I had no prior knowledge of.
2. They always had a message. This wouldn't be true if they were simply the result of random synapse activity.
3. The creator of my dreams obviously knows me very well. To an extent where it understood which symbology I would understand.
4. The creator of my dreams was able to very precisely control what I remembered about the physical World, and what I didn't remember about the physical World. My memory was controlled in a manner that enabled my dreams to work.
5. A lot of the dreams were so sophisticated, there just had to be a planning intelligence behind them.
6. Sometimes my dreams sempt so auspicious, it was obvious that something special created them.
7. Sometimes I'd have waking dreams, and whatever it was that was creating the dreams, was able to respond immediately to thoughts I contributed.
8. After I wake up from a dream I'll immediately make notes in a dream journal. Quite often, especially after very special dreams, I'll see these flashing stars that my guidance shows me. Sometimes they'll flash a star on an important part of my dream notes as I write them.
9. The first time I made strong contact with my higher self, was after I woke up from a trio of very intricate dreams, and suddenly had the revelation that they are created by my higher self.
10. On a more personal note, there are some sources which state that they are created by our higher self, and I trust these sources.

Not all dreams are going to lead to a major energy release. They effect you in different ways. Somtimes they just provide you with clues, so you'll know how to consciously work on yourself. You can't expect your guidance to do all the work.

Also, your higher self will never force you to let go of a psychological pattern you don't want to let go of. It can only help you, if you allow it to.

how do we know dreams are created by our higher self? maybe some? how could we tell the difference? when we work with our higher self and when we dont? which dream is which? who decides first? if our higher self wanted to work on us or could have done everything or anything ok or better for ourselves why use dreams for that? there are easier ways..stopping the things before they are causing the problem perhaps, edicating us or working on us before we were born? since everybody dreams and since everybody's higher self or god is the one or at least similar, then nobody would have been suffering any pain now..something else is missing here. right? perhaps majority of dreams are not like we think of them at all? could some maybe be  fragments from there from when we didnt even existed as we do now ..they are just rememberings of things that has not been yet? damn here i go again.

Yeah, it's surprising some of things we hold onto without realizing it. I've found that dreams are really good at revealing such things.

it won't work on a reluctant target because you have to have permission first. good question "what are we waiting for?" the answer is the same as above, you don't practice on someone unless they ask. everybody has their own stuff to work thru..I would say some sort of bond is needed between two but Reicki masters who do this, don't need the bond, they are just like portals themselves. a beginning healer sends love, as love is healing in itself, to get things moving in the right direction. unconditional love, not the kind of love that makes someone pay up what they owe. there must be tons of books out there about absentee healing, do a google search.

another secret to the universe from DP is if you want something, first give it away, then it comes back to you. we could call this good karma. just make sure your human doesn't expect whatever it is you want to come from a specific part of the universe, or a specific person. doesn't always work that way.

Laffingrain, 'Absent' or 'Distant' Healing has been employed by Spiritualists for over a century,Harry Edwards being perhaps the deservedly best known practioner of both this and Contact Healing.

While the purpose of any Healing energy is very deep and complex, nevertheless different conditions - and presumably the underlying causes - respond more readily to one, than to the other.
This is a gross oversimplification, of course and is only a starting-point example for those wishing to think of your suggestion.

hi there Hiorta its true distant healing has been with us forever, but theres nothing quite like your first experience getting a healing out there in the astral body and bring back the effects to the physical. I am grossly over simplified person and apologize. I mostly like to provide inspiration for self healing, but don't go into great detail, as what you say, theres so many ways to heal something.. herbs, detoxifying, intense prayer, faith, use of imagination, visuals, sound, toning, having healing circles, seeing it not there, meditating on other lives in conjuction with current pains, my favorite is looking at belief systems and letting them slowly side out the door, don't forget laughter is healing. each person will gravitate to the type of healing circumstance which is perfect for them; I like having conversations with my belief systems and once I can see a situation differently, whatever was troubling me goes away miraculously. I suppose getting a healing out there by a good friend is kinda rare. maybe not worth mentioning even here. its the kind of thing that I like to write about though.
I have high hopes for mankind and the many ways of healing being experienced more and more.
