Title: Welcomed to the Afterlife - To which Focus Level? Post by roger prettyman on Jan 3rd, 2006 at 8:59am
I have read in books, other than Bruce`s, that when we depart the physical life our spirit is met by spirits of our previously departed loved ones (i.e. spouse, parents, grandparents, etc) to take us to the Afterlife. Bruce calls the levels "There" as Focus Levels and presumably we go to the appropriate Level depending upon our BST here on earth.
Now, if the person who just passed was one of humanities worst, say, a child or mass murderer (Hitler) for example, but would, no doubt, still have been dearly loved by their now spirit loved ones, where would the spirits take the newly departed spirit to? Do they have a say in what happens to the new spirit and where it goes? Even though they might recognise the son as being evil in the physical, would they still not wish for the best for the spirit and take it to a higher Focus Level, or are they over-ridden by some means? Or, are evil people`s spirits (and who would define exactly what evil is?) not met at all? I must admit I cannot quite get my mind round this aspect and wonder what others might think. roger :) |

Roger,
I have heard it said, that we are what we take with us, and a heinous soul would likely end up in a dark state of mind. In a description which I will link on here, the person ended up in a dark twilight, without the warm greeting of loved ones. Only after he began to change, and atone did the light and his progress improve. I have heard it said that ascended loved ones can constantly be concerned, and shine down love to these people, but until their minds/spirits respond to change for the good, they are usually unaware of their loved ones presence. I can not vouch for the accuracy of this channeled work, but it pretty much spells out one poor person's experience of suffering, enlightenment, then ascension/redemption. Toward the end of the book, he meets his father, who he could not see until he had made his own progress: http://www.angelfire.com/ne/newviews/wsltoc.html Matthew |

It seems we must gravitate to the place and level we have fitted ourselves for.
Progress from there, if desired, can be achieved by our own efforts, helped by the good wishes of loved ones. |
