Hi,I talk in my sleep a lot,but its in a forein language. forgive me for the spelling.My woman friend told me I carry on a conversation with someone,than I stop as if this other person is talking back to me,then I begain to speak again in this other language.how can this be? I only know english.Has anybody had this happen to them or is it just me.ive tried using a voice recorder,but everytime I have it on,I dont talk.this has happened a number of times.Any thoughts. love George

 Yep i can kind of relate, as i guess i talk a lot in my sleep, and sometimes it seems to be a different language, but nothing recognizable to Becky.

 A brief interesting story:  My fairly psychic God Mother who was good friends with my Mom, use to tell my Mom that they had been in a concentration camp, but my also quite psychic mother though she believed in other lives, didn't ever get any info on this, and so would say, nah Elizabeth.

 Many years later, the night before her surgery, while asleep she woke up screaming in German, because when she woke up and became fully conscious a nurse had walked by when she screamed, and asked, "you know german?"

 My Mom said no, but i just had a dream about being a little girl in a concentration camp.

 So, who knows?   Anyways, this seems to be more a "Dreams" type of thread.

What foreign language is it?  Big difference if you're babbling on in Chinese, Latin, French.  I like the voice activated recorder idea.  It would be interesting if you got something.

Yes,I like the voice recorder,I have tryed it a lot.but I have not talked in my sleep while the recorder is on.I will have it on everytime I sleep from now on.My girl friend said it sounded like german or something in that part of the world.Love George.
