Two super movies for the holidays, “Five People You Meet in Heaven” * Note-Marilyn, you’ll love this one, and “Noel” both in line with Bruce’s site. The usual fund raising on PBS prompted my husband and I to rent DVD’s to get through a high stress-filled weekend and we found two “sleepers”(only one on the shelf). Both good and very thought provoking for these new times. Old stories with a modern twist.

Alysia, sometimes there's some pretty good 'spiritual' type movies on the Lifetime channel on cable.

Five People... was used as a community read here this summer/fall. We had already read it (me and the kid) last year. If you like that you might find Tuesdays with Morrie interesting. same author.

I thought Celestine Prophecy was being turned into a movie but it seems to have not materialized as such....
