Title: Advancing spirits Post by Mr_Satan on Dec 4th, 2005 at 12:11pm
Do more advanced souls pay less attention to the appeal that their bodies or the life courses of their body persons would have to others? Also, do less advanced spirits usually go for attractive bodies? Is that why cute and attractive people are many times a bit shallow, because their spirits are a bit less developed? Apologies in advance to all the cute and pretty people out there.

Hmmmm, never have given that any thought. I know some very physically beautiful people who are very spiritually advanced and also physically beautiful people who don't seem to be very spiritual at all.
Besides, we manifest how we look according to how we feel inside. ;D |

The server hosting this forum had gone down several hours ago, and the forum has evidently experienced a revert (using the webhosts' backup data).
I had earlier made a post on this thread, titled "Beauty - physical vs spiritual" (which was reverted into non-existence, rather that deleted by a moderator, because Alysia's post on this thread was a co-victim; either that, or I gotta say time travel RoXXorS!) : http://infinity.hispeed.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1133736816/0#0 The post shall be gingerly reproduced back here, while we eagerly await another revert : ---------------------------------------------- Mr Sha Dan wrote : Quote:
A few points. Firstly, the idea of 'physical beauty', as well as 'spiritual beauty', when taken as a contrast to each other, is itself a bit of an error. For instance, the idea that a person could be physically beautiful but spiritually unbeautiful, or another person could be spiritually beautiful but physically unbeautiful, this is quite meaningless from a higher perspective, and only denotes judgement on the part of the viewer, in categories understood (by the judger) as 'physical' and 'spiritual' qualities. You might more accurately refer to *qualities*, that you might admire or appreciate. But in terms of people, if one is willing to see this, then there are no unbeautiful people, either physically or spiritually. Hence, I have not met anyone who is beautiful physically, but unbeautiful spiritually; nor anyone who is beautifully spiritually, but unbeautiful physically. Verily, I have not met anyone who is unbeautiful. Yes, indeed, the intentions and vibrations of individuals and groups certainly differ. The scale of evolution is infinite, and some are naturally more evolved than others. This includes all beings, from the terrorists who wreak great harm and destruction to others, to people with extremely evil intentions, those who carry out the most sadistic torture and abuse of others, those who seek to gain power over others, those who seek to harm others, create pain and suffering, even those who actively employ 'black magic', even 'dark extraterrestrials' who have ill intentions against mankind, even 'dark entities', certain types of which are traditionally known as 'demonic', and so on and so forth. These beings express very different intentions and vibrations from what we might see as 'beautiful', for instance, as exemplified by the angels, archangels, and wonderful masters like Hilarion and Sananda (Jesus Christ), all the Serenissimus, the Elohim, and so on ad infinitum throughout all levels of God's beloved Cosmos. But is it really the former group of beings whom are who unbeautiful, or is it just their actions/intentions that are so? (which are ultimately invariably born out of misconception) The answer to this will depend on who (or at what level) you consider their true existence to be. As well as, the willingness to embrace, recognize and appreciate your own qualities within (both 'beautiful' and 'unbeautiful'), that you have projected out onto these stories, these concepts, these other beings around you, that you hear of, or imagine. Because true beauty, love and light, are always present at the core of all beings. It only takes the willingness of your heart, to realize this, to see this. This is the meaning of "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder", a direct consequence of the Law of Reflection. Remember that truth is relative. What you *think* you see in the world around you, can only serve to teach *you* what it means to yourself. For instance, no one can ever truly judge another. It is only a story that you choose to believe in, when you become aware of an incident, an event, an energy. You can swear angrily at the guy who bumped into you without apologizing, never knowing he was frantically rushing off to a loved one in critical condition in the hospital. You can feel hate for a man who you believe to be the murderer of your parents or a loved one, and proceed to ruin his life in revenge, finding out too late, that he was in fact framed. You can ruin a close relationship if you believe rumours on what is an act of betrayal, if you choose to believe the *story* that you are a 'victim of betrayal' and thus 'should' feel hurt and angry. All these are stories (that you create for yourself), why limit your possibilities in life by believing in them? Ask yourself, "Can I be absolutely sure its true?" "How would I feel, if I choose not to accept this story as absolutely true?" "If I Turn-It-Around, what does this entire episode teach me about myself? (And hence, what this entire episode really meant?)" The above is one way of summarizing Bryon Katie's Work. "People should not betray me!", becomes "I should not betray others!" as well as "Others should not betray me!". "People should appreciate the inner beauty in others!", becomes "I should appreciate the inner beauty in others!" as well as "I should appreciate the inner beauty in myself!" This process is CLARIFICATION (clarifying or uncovering the true meaning or purpose of any event in your life), resulting in taking SELF-RESPONSIBILITY (this is self-empowerment, and it is something only *you* can give to yourself), and consequently and inevitably, karmic and spiritual EVOLUTION for the soul. -------------------------------- Notwithstanding the above discussion, if one were to insist then, on using the commonly held perception (or misperception) of traits of 'physical beauty' vs 'spiritual beauty', or to be precisely, the false concept that these have any bearing to the true beauty and lovability to the true being (and not its projected vibrations or energies), then to address the original poster (DragonBall's Sha Dan Xian Shen)'s question simply, Quote:
No, there is no direct or simple correlation between the 'beauty' or qualities of the physical body or shell, and the 'beauty' or qualities of the soul. There are indeed many interactions and correlations between the soul and the body, many symbolic and energetic in nature, for instance, in various diseases which can be traced to various imbalances in the soul, karmic issues, past lives, etc. But to the hypothesis, "Are physically beautiful pple spiritually unevolved?" or "Are spiritually evolved pple physically unbeautiful?", the answer, is a clear and definite, NO. No direct correlation, not so on any level you might see it, even including that of the mundane or typically held views of 'beauty' by modern society. This is simple to understand, and in fact important to understand, when you consider that the physical body, genetics, as well as karmic scenario or setup, that a soul incarnates into, can and will vary widely over lifetimes for any given soul, inasmuch as these different physical bodies, genetics, and karmic setups serve the specifics of the individual's existential program, and overall karmic & spiritual evolution of the individual's soul. This can be understood when one considers, for example, that severe, unbalancing, destructive tendencies such as racism, say if one is strongly racist against a certain race and carried out hateful acts of racism and discrimination that caused much sufferring to that race, then it is natural and quite inevitable, that the person will, in a future existence or lifetime, require or be drawn to karmic setups and experiences that will equivalently convey the consequences of the individual's actions and emotions in that lifetime of hatred and racism. In many cases, the simplest and most suitable form of this, is to incarnate as a member of that race that the individual hated and harmed, in that previous lifetime. One can find many parallels to this, a similar occurrence being those who discriminate against gays, lesbians, and so on. Remember one can only TurnItAround and decide what one chooses as 'correct' or 'the right thing to do', for only *oneself*, and never (judging) others. What is 'right' for one, may be 'wrong' for another. There is no right or wrong, really, only actions that are fear-based or loving, anti-cosmoethical or cosmoethical. Because the physical body and lifetime's karmic setup has no direct correlation on the evolution or 'beauty' of the soul, one cannot correctly or with any sense of accuracy or validity, make statements such as "He's a poor/rich man, he must be un/evolved" or "She's a beautiful/ugly girl, she must be un/evolved", and so on and so forth. Lastly, there are just a couple of remaining points brought up by the original poster (Mr Sha Dan) that we'll briefly mention : Quote:
More advanced souls, because they have a deeper and intuitive understanding of all the principles discussed above, naturally understand that true beauty goes beyond the appearance of the physical body or shell (which is largely genetically determined, inhabitable or incarnatable by any soul across all types, for convenience of temporary sourjoun of intraphysical existence), and that the true beauty or value of one's lifetime, lies in the effort for maximizing the potential in one's life, for the fulfillment of as many aspects as possible of one's highest existential program, and hence, for evolution of oneself, and assistantiality for others. That is to say, advanced souls realize that true beauty, lies in the heart that loves, that seeks to assist and help others, and consequently and invariably the simultaneous evolution of oneself. (The existential program is always a plan that maximizes foresseable opportunities for evolution and assistantiality, according to the karma, traits, qualities, nature and free will of the soul). So would they "pay less attention to the appeal that their bodies or the life courses of their body persons would have to others?". The answer rather, is they would certainly pay more attention to the impact that their life, their efforts, and their actions, would have on lives of others. 'Appeal of physical body' would seem a rather meaningless or frivolous concept, then. Quote:
As previously stated, there is no direct or inherent correlation between physical apperance and evolutionary status of a soul. Nor should there be. Nor would there be any meaning for such. If one perceives (ie. judges a trait as) 'shallow', TurnItAround and ask what it means to you, what it teaches you about yourself, and how you would like to be 'better' in some way, more loving, or contribute to the Cosmos. Whilst certain 'younger', 'less mature', or 'less evolved' souls might (due to misconception on their part, resulting in a false, self-limiting tie-in of physical apperance to self-worth, self-esteem, self-lovability, and consequently these conditions (for love) usually projected on others as well) choose to judge, accept and love themselves (and others) according to their own standards of physical 'beauty', usually influenced by or dependent on societal norms (due to lack of clarity and a free will internal reference, thus needing the approval or acceptance of external beings or conditions before accepting or loving themselves), this may contribute to the superstition or false idea that 'physically beautiful pple are bimbos or airheads', as implied by the conjecture pondered over by the original poster. So once again, Quote:
No, and no. Because the meaning of 'attractive' has evolved along the soul, and might differ accordingly to the advancement or evolutionary status of the individual. Certainly all advanced souls are attractive, and 'less advanced' souls equally beautiful. Even 'physically'. (Or is there any meaning to this even?) Quote:
It would be helpful, if one breaks free of previous held limiting beliefs such as to what is 'cute', 'pretty', 'beautiful', and so on. And even to what is 'physical' and what is 'spiritual'. Instead, ask what is in your own heart, this teaches you what is your beauty, and consequently the beauty of others. There is certainly no need to apologize, either to them, or even to yourself. Rather, ask yourself if it might be time to redefine or shift (any or all) your concepts towards a more helpful manner. One result of this, would be that you would recognize that you (all of you reading this, as well as those who are not) are indeed 'cute', 'pretty' and 'beautiful', and that these qualities go way beyond apperances, even beyond the physical body, or even beyond the psyche, karma or any energy body, or vibraitons. These (qualities of cute, adorable, pretty, beautiful, loving) go way into the heart of your heart - your willingness to love, to see the same beauty, the oneness, in all others around, and to show this to them, to assist them, to love them. Lastly, this entire discussio on the riddle of 'physical beauty vs spiritual beauty', brings us to yet another often misunderstood topic or quality, 'love of others vs love of self'. In essence, just as 'spiritual beauty = physical beauty' or put in other words, true beauty goes beyond any appearances, judgement or criteria of 'physical' or 'spiritual' and so on; in exactly the same way, 'love of others = love of self' or put in other words, true love goes beyond others or self. The (mis)conception associated with this topic, is noteworthingly, the source of great frustration, confusion and even spiritual darkness or evolutionarily limiting, for a number of individuals, including for the individual known here as Chumley. To those that are frustrated or upset with the idea of love as 'service of others over service of self', or that 'service to self' is somehow selfish or unloving, you can relax, and recognize that this (the source of your frustration and upset) is really nothing more than a misconception, caused when you try to adopt what you might perceive as the notions of others by the words they communicate with. (Individuals struggling with, or wishing to explore further, the ideas of 'love of self' vs 'love of others' vs love, might like to check out our comments section on our "Meaning of the Heart of God" webpage). It does not matter what they (anyone and everyone) think, or even what they truly believe, adhere or live by, what is of (the only) importance, is that you figure out what your feelings (about any idea or concept or 'story' or belief that come into your awareness) teach you about yourself. This is what is meant by, "If you hear something that doesn't feel right to you, it means that it *isn't* right for you; certainly not in the way you interpreted or perceived the speaker's words, and even regardless of whatever the speaker intended or meant". Thus if you read anything anywhere, for instance in some religious scripture or bible, in new age channelings or a Hilarion personal reading, in the research papers of the International Academy of Consciousness or in any of our (Kyo's) posts, if it doesn't feel right to you, then it simply isn't. Then find out what *is* right for you, and live it. Clarify it, in a way that raises your vibrations, that makes your actions clearer and more loving, more true to yourself. For only you can give this to yourself. Only you can empower yourself, enlighten yourself, and love yourself. You beautiful person, you. |
