While in my waking state this morning,I heard a conforsation going on between my sister in law and my daughter.My sister inlaw was asking my daughter,why dont you phone your Father.I heard my daughter say no,I dont want enything to do with him.Ever sinse my wife died last year,my daughter does not want to talk to me.She never liked me from day one.It was always my wife.She had no time for me.I dont know why she is doing this,and I sometimes wounder why I have her in my will.Any thoughts.Love George

Have you ever asked your daughter why she doesn't like you? It seems to me that would be the first step towards getting this resolved.

I have been a good Father to her.I am a very quiperson.I really dont know why she doing this,and its tearing me apart.My wife have givenen her everything she ever wanted.Love george

My daughter only phones home when she's in trouble. Not unusual, just a phase.

If your wife spoiled your daughter it'll take her a little while to realize that she's missing something by not being closer to you. She probably has some personal ideas about your not being the person that she would prefer you to be - which has nothing to do with anything except her own inner feelings. This can happen when we don't respond to tragedies the way others expect us to.

Sometimes all we can do is to love, be available, see to the necessities of life, and let kids find their way. Eventually she will see though her inner smokescreen and discover that it was just an internal soap opera.

To learn that we are creating our own problems, suspicions and hassles with others can be a very hard lesson to learn, but a necessary one all the same. Then she will be able to see you and appreciate you as you are. Meanwhile, just be there for her, and recall that your value is that you gave her life, and that you care about her, whether or not she is presently able to return the feelings.

I am happy that you replyed.You see her real Mother is my wifes sister.I dont know who the real father.Anyway her real mother was about to give her up her up for adopion,but I sugested to my wife that we adope her,whitch we did.Now in a dream that I am sure was a past life,I was married to my wifes sister.We had a little girl.In that life. my wife worked the streets of new york as a call girl.I worked on the rail way.I was working a long way from home,so I had to put our little girl in a place For kids with a home.My wife never did care for our child,and I would only be home once a month.While I was at work,a telagram came for me,saying come home right away.The place my daughter was in burnt to the ground.Every kid in the place was dead.When my daughter in this life time was young, she was very afried of fire.We both smoked at the time,and my daughter would always check the ash trays before going to bed.What do you think.Love George

She may well have some repressed memories/feelings from that former life..perhaps, from a child's point of view, a sense of abandonment.
And now, in this life, she is reacting to those same emotions, without even realizing it.
Does she know her own history?  That is, in this life?

Does she know that her aunt is her mother and her bio father is unknown?

If she does, at what age did she gain this knowledge?

I told her about her real mother last week.She is 35 right now.love George
