Title: Retrieval using a portal and possible verification Post by Mendel on Oct 27th, 2005 at 6:54pm
I requested a retrieval and found myself in a scene with two kids
playing around outside. Both were Afr. Am. One name I got was Devon Jones. Rather than my instinctual pick them up in my arms and lift them up strategy, I remembered the portal idea. So I told them, let's go inside to have our snack. At first, they resisted, but then decided to proceed inside. I then imagined a portal ahead of us. At first, I didn't notice anything unusual, but one of the kids replied, I've never seen this before. Then, I saw a lighted area ahead, which fit more my perception of a portal. As I walked past the dividing line, I notice a change in feel, perhaps slightly cooler/lighter. As the kids moved through, I could hear them talking as though they got older, and perhaps more people had entered the scene. A teen pushed by me. I lingered around for a bit and then decided to do another retrieval. But before I could make sense of the new surrounding, I could hear my alarm clock blaring and knew I would need to shut it off. So I C1-ed. I slept another good 30 min's afterward before getting out of bed. Check out the possible validation: http://www.militarycity.com/valor/256548.html I rarely get validations. And it's hard to when you do random retrievals. If you do retrievals by someone's request, you can corroborate evidence with the requester. -mike |

Mendel:
I did a little more research about Mr. Jones. Two other soldiers died in the Ravine that he died in. One was white, so they probably aren't the people you saw. Devon did have two brothers though. Perhaps in a spirit way they spent time with him, or perhaps he imagined them to be with him until he crossed over. The fact of how they changed age might symbolize that he imagined them as they were when they were younger, but in truth they are older now. |

Recoverer,
Thanks for looking into this information. I'm not sure what to make of finding a person as a child, when they died older. Or even if this is the same person as the article. Once I did an OBE visit to an adult woman in her 40-50's, but knew almost nothing about the person. I found the woman to look like a teenager with a friend also in her teens. It turns out her friend was even older than her. So, it would seem our astral self is often "younger" than our real age. The other possibility is that when a person dies, they leave behind fragments of their personality in different astral territories - especially if they were fragmented somehow during life. So in principle, more than one retrieval may be necessary for a person. Would've been nice to have picked up the name of Devon's companion. But as you know, retrievals can happen so quickly that it's hard to get too much info. -mike |

Your welcome.
Added to the factor of getting enough information, it may be that information that can easilly be researched might not be available. I did an unexpected retrievel this morning, and got a name of a newspapper and a name, but have no idea how to spell the last name. Kluzowski, or something like that. I think I'll give it a go, but not beyond the internet. |

Recoverer,
Yep I understand that point. Kluzowski - people search on yahoo turns up exactly one name in the entire US in Illinois. Also, try Koslowski or Kozlowski, those are more common names. I always like to tell people my only good retrieval validation was a WTC victim. The info for each victim on the web is extensive. The Social security death index is very incomplete as it only has people who collected at least one benefit in their lifetime. So, young people are almost completely not recorded there. Obits in the online newspapers are fine up to a year, but you have to have know which newspaper to look in. -mike |

I figure that a day will come when we'll get verification for all kinds of things that seem uncertain today. In a way the uncertainty makes things interesting, and helps with our growth.

thats true..u have to be a real detective to pursue verification. I did find the right town on the map..I had not heard the "s" in Langsford, SD and I heard it as Langford. maybe because..try to put an s and and f together, it's a little hard.
this was my first entirely lucid, I am here now, body asleep, mind awake, retrieval. and I had enough presence of mind to ask, "where in tarnation am I?" I was reminded, yes, good to ask questions out there..good to get answers! the guides or helpers, they watched the whole show; they just didn't let me see them until it was over. there were 3 men. appearing as like middle age. right away I knew they could appear as they wished to look. I forgot to ask Cami her last name. when I woke up in the morning, was like no time had passed between going to sleep and waking up in the morning. I was still "out there". but I wasn't tired. usually, if its like a dream state I have to struggle with remembering. this was like easy to go from "out" to C1 instantly, no haze in between. I jumped up to search the internet and maps and South Dakota newspapers for news of a young girls death. only found the town name. didnt' have a date of death either. so much for verification of that sort of nature of facts. I didn't care too much to pursue it as what I was amazed about was me. I didn't know I could care about a stranger that much. I think its because I gravitate as a mother to teenagers. she was 16. I was like, oh, no, what a short tragic life. I must fix this. she was retrieved to a better place, and neither one of us got the whole story what happened, I just was picking up, it wasn't nice and neither one of us was strong enough to face it emotionally so the retrieval took place pretty quickly with PUL all around; she went off with some friends, or helpers who knew how to look like her friends from school with one in particular who I got the impress had been trying to bring her home, but she hadn't been able to see her, because of the truama and melancholy. so in the end, the heart chakra was spinning like crazy to attend to her..only love could save her, and being around teenagers, I know how intense they can get..especially within these circumstances of what looked like murder. all the verification was in the heart area. I realize not all retrievals are emotional to this extent though. with fond memories, |
