You can't make an omlette without cracking a few eggshells.  Life is full of mistakes.  If you fear to make them, you will never get out of the house (so to speak).

Think of the Frank Sinatra song, "I did it my way" and do it!  Use your intuition, make mistakes.  What the hell!  Live.  Be human - its all we are, but how wonderful it is!

Change for the better is a matter of attitude and intention.  If you have rough times, you can bounce back.  Right now, you are short circuiting thinking that you will end up in a hell on earth due to poor decisions.  Hogwash.  If you fall, pick yourself up!  You will never be consigned anywhere, unless you give permission or stay in a state of indecision forever.

you can also ask tarot cards (or something like that) about your choices, i try sometimes to look into my future, it's more fun for me and i don't treat it very seriously but it always helps and i don't worry so much ;D and i'm alawys surprised with the effect.

i don't know, but you can try. unfortunatley i don't have a tarot deck (but i hope soon it will change) and i use gamecards and even if it doesn't work it's great fun for me. we are all different so different things help different people.

To each his own.  I feel like we have most power and communications when we are relaxed, usually upon waking if we go back to sleep or relax.  At that time, I state my intentions of things I'd like to accomplish.  I do this on a daily basis now - and sometimes, I truly believe it has power to help, far more than worrying and wrestling at other times.  I have advised patients to try this technique before bed or early morning in stating their intentions to be healed (separate from my conventional medications and treatment).

I would not leave decisions up to Tarot myself, but if through it one can relax and communicate with the universe, so be it.  I think for me, it would not be helpful.

no, i don't. but once one man asked cards about my future and part of it same true, with the other part i have to wait few months (i wanted to know what will happened in one year time).

I don't want to tick anyone off, but I think Tarot is the wrong way to go.  The future is not set in stone, although with advanced theories of consciousness many of us believe that past/present and future all coexist, and so may be affected by conscious intention (this is a difficult concept).  

If you believe in Tarot and a reading, in some ways, you are throwing your conscious intent into what is being forcast and told to you.  I do not see this as productive, though sometimes it may come to pass.

WF, you see the universe as acting on you, and you feel helpless.  You wil not feel better until you feel empowered and a part of the creative process.  However this does not come quickly.

Ok, but I am not sure if you understood my post.  In certain Voodoo and magic, a person may react to a curse or forecast by becoming gravely ill.  Why?  As I see it, our thought/intentions create reality through consciousness interacting with C1.  

If you receive a Tarot forecast, believe it (whether you want to or not), you may in effect be helping choose the future possibilities.  The Tarot may then be correct in predicting the future, but your consciousness and intentions on hearing the forecast make you an active participant with the reading.

We either are creating reality or we feel we are being acted on and helpless.  In reality, we are never helpless, but our inaction and fear creates our negative realities.

Matthew, I totally agree with what you are saying about personal empowerment.  It is just difficult to understand this when a person is young.  

Regarding the tarot, I don't use tarot for forecasts but  only for gaining insight into my thoughts and experience.  Therefore I don't go to others for interpretation but work from it on my own on occasion.  

But even when used with another person, the experience of sharing the symbology can be enjoyable and useful in my opinion.  

White Feather is doing so much self-searching that perhaps an instrument like the tarot or runes or whatever might be helpful to her, especially if she learns how to use them on their own.
