Title: Speaking of swirling Post by blink on Oct 25th, 2005 at 9:26am
Has anyone ever had the experience of their field of vision swirling around....with no alcohol use or illness to cause it?
I have noticed an occasional swirling in both my outer and inner vision. What I see before me "moves" counterclockwise.... so I assume that something at my center is "moving" clockwise for me to see in this manner. Does that make any sense? What might be the reason for this? Any ideas? love, blink |

I can't say for certain what's going on for you, but I used to experience this on occasion. I think I got the sensation because adjustments were being made in my head area. I also used to get mild headaches and dizziness after meditating. If this is what you're experiencing, it'll probably go away after adjustments have been made.

I don't have any headaches or dizziness. But while using some meditation cds I get a very very strong visual image of a counterclockwise rotation. It is like looking into the night sky and it rotates rather quickly in a circular direction to the left.
With eyes closed it can appear like a big spiral moving around. It can continue for quite a long time and it is odd that I don't find it unpleasant at all. Maybe this is off-topic, but I was pretty sure someone here would have some idea why this happens. blink |

Do you mean like a spinning tunnel?

Maybe, like a tunnel. It fills up the entire field of the inner vision. If I am inside of it then it would fill up the entire field.
I used to think I was going out into the universe and would try to move to move through it, which would feel partially successful but would be tiring. I find it is now a powerful feeling to simply stay there with it. There is not a dizzy, light feeling to the visuals but heavy and dense, very real. blink |

Sorry, but I don't know what it is.

Well, maybe someone else does. Thanks, uhm, Albert, right? I like listening to everyone else here describe their strange experiences and maybe it will ring a bell with somebody.
Well, another thing. There can be some pretty amazing images that go along with it, sort of fractal images like people use on the computer desktop. At least they were there a few days ago when I did it. It was quite a show. Extremely complex. blink |

Sometimes I'll wake up in the middle of the night, and I'll see images that are perhaps like you see. They'll change very rapidly, are very intricate, and I don't know what they mean. It seems as if they appear on some sort of screen or backdrop. This has happened a number of times. Perhaps the intention is for me to understand them subconsciously, and eventually I'll understand them consciously. They don't come with the swirling effect you talk about. I can feel energy rushing in at the top of my head when I receive them. LOL this is fun. ;D

Oh, yes, the swirling is the beginning, Albert....
The fractals come later and there is a very strong sensation of movement with them. It's very rapid change. I am just amazed by the complexity. How does this come out of my brain by just lying there listening to a music meditation cd? I'll have to give you the name of it--can't recall it right at the moment. blink |

whats invisible and smells like carrots? give up? bunny farts. he he he
well, humm..sometimes I blink out for a nano second and if feels like maybe part of me was not here and now its back, whatever...a little strange...like losing your car in the parking lot but differrent, like grounding into the here and now moment. some folks might call it senality but its not that its negative, its more like losing some focus on the material world but not really being uncomfortable about it but sort of like oh wow, I have a life don't I? sort of feeling. like gee, where have I been for the last 58 years, nice to be here now! can't surmise Blink what the swirling would be as I don't feel movement of swirling but more like a cloud of energy which starts me ears to tickle a bit, might be the same as yours..I've heard and detected movement in the chakras, which are said to move in clockwise or counter direction as well, and perhaps this is a type of kundalini movement as well, or expansion of your energetic light body. much love and always get a lift from you here. alysia |

You bet, Alysia, I feel that winking out feeling a lot these days. It's like I'm half in, half out...it's strange too, I just can't pay attention to the news very much anymore, tv watching declining to a crawl...I wonder where I am half the time?
It's anybody's guess. love, blink |

Yes, this is Prince Albert trying to move out of the can I call my body. I'm packed inside of it like a bunch of sardines.

I used to have some bunnies who lived on garlic and onions. You don't want to know the rest of the story. LOL, take away my nose.

It's a good thing we don't have any canned laughter on our soundtrack here....
