Title: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by Tayo on Oct 22nd, 2005 at 10:41pm
Hello! I want to share something with you guys. I'm not sure if it was my imagination or what but here it goes.
Last night as I was in front of the computer pondering about life and what not I started to feel this tingling / tickling / refreshing sensation on top of my head, amazingly it felt as if it was going in circles around it, round and round above my head. It was a very amusing feeling so I decided to just enjoy, then I closed my eyes. It was pleasant and reminded me of the halos that people paint on angels. With my closed eyes I tried to imagine something... without knowing exactly what. I perceived what I guess was a retrieval of some kind but one of the figures were unrecognizable. I did recognize a sad man sitting on the floor. The unrecognizable figure was just lying there on the floor. I assumed it was a female but i have no clue. I sensed the environment and the feeling of the man in my mind, he was sad, like crying, head down, towards the other figure. Don't know what to think. Felt kinda bad for the fellow so I prayed a bit for him and then this startdust or the like came and sort of took him away. Then I saw a smiley face. Other things went on but since i don't know ::) i'll just save it. And then what about the other figure? I don't know what happened to it. Probably just my imagination. It sure was fun tho, it made me think about life for a while afterwards. I thought different interpertations and would love to read your comments. Can't remember if the head thing was still going on during or afterwards but it was all good. Cheers, Carlos. |

Hi Carlos-
Now you know how it feels to stimulate the crown chakra (often called sahasrara, or thousand petal lotus) . It's a sign of spiritual advancement. You can augment this by meditation, or by pranayama (get a local expert to teach you bhastrika with maha bandha), and you will raise kundalini energy up the spine. If you have never meditated, a simple book that locates the major chakras (seven chakras, Hindu system, is easiest for this) and the number of "petals" (nadis) will give you a chance to sit and trace out the nadis in your body. That will give you about half the needed meditation to start energizing the chakras, and that leads to kundalini. Or, just go on with your life, and have confidence in your own spontaneous awakening. dave |

Hi Dave,
It is very pleasing to know this! ;D Your knowledge is very much appreciated! But if I went on with my life I'm sure that I'd be missing out of something. Already started investigating about the chakras and kundalini. Taking note of what you said. Very interesting stuff! Thanks again! Carlos. |

Tayo:
I feel energy in various ways at the top of my head just about all the time. My doors of perception plus my contact with the spirit World (especially my higher self) increased noticeably as a result. I didn't want to rely on books to find out about working with kundalini, because the fact of how many phony kundalini Gurus there are has come to my attention. They gather followers in hoards, and then leave them to themselves when they start having kundalini problems. My kundalini/energy body is worked on by a guide or guides (I don't know how many). When I see how it is worked on, it is hard to imagine how the application of energy manipulation techniques could work as well. I believe that the main thing is to get your energy flowing freely, so that it can connect with the energy of God, higher self, etc. You can help your guidance do so, by getting rid of the psychological attachments and emotional issues that are stored within your body. Let me put it this way. I've found that kundalini is more subtle than the physical. Therefore it can move right through physical tissue without having to push it out of the way. This becomes very noticeable once it starts really flowing. Thought patterns on the other hand, that stay with you because of emotional attachments, are subtle enough to block kundalini's flow. It seems to me that kundalini works on removing blockages in stages. Say for example, you have a blockage at point A. It gets loosened up a bit by kundalini, you find out what psychological issue the blockage relates to, and then let it go. The blockage at point A is gone for a few weeks, and then comes back a couple of weeks later due to another psychological issue that needs to be cleared. It is as if the issues get layered, and resultantly need to be removed in layers. The more you remove layers, the more kundalini can flow. On the other hand, the more kundalini flows, the more layers of blockage need to be removed. Blockages can cause physical pain. I used to have upper and lower back pain, plus neck pain that went away, after blockages were removed. More than once I've experienced pain in some part of my body, sat down to meditate, and found that the pain occured right where the blockage is. Sometimes pain can be felt when a part of you energy body is worked on. How to remove the issues that relate to blockages? I've found that if you pay attention to dreams, they'll tell you what issues need to be worked on. Sometimes such issues can be found in daily life, but they are often missed. Sometimes you'll be surprised at what issues are still hanging around. Occasionally I'll be shown an image or two (and sometimes more) during meditation, and these images also tell me what issues are causing my kundalini to be blocked. It also helps to have a good diet. That way energy won't have to be diverted to clean up the crud. There's more to it than this. Besides blocks, it seems as if adjustments are made to your nervous system, chakras and the other parts of your energy body. I don't know the details. |

Tayo:
Just your imagination? At first I didn't know what I was seeing when I saw things. I'd be like, "What? Why'd I see that?" But then after a while I realized that I was being shown things by my guidance. Not just random things, even though sometimes your guidance will show you things just to let you know that they are there. It sounds to me like things were shown to you, as opposed to you making things up. Especially when you saw stardust. Did you feel the energy at the very top of your head, or at the back and top of your head? When people in need are shown to me, I feel energy at the back and top of my head. [quote author=Tayo Probably just my imagination. Cheers, Carlos.[/quote] |

How very interesting! See if you can try to duplicate your situation and relaxation level again, and see if it comes back. Might be kind of cool to explore it further.

Recoverer, wow I feel a bit overwhelmed about all of your input.. and craving for more at the same time. I'm actually a newbie to all of this as you might have noticed, but already started reading some about the chakras and feelings. Always have wanted to master the emotions part of all this, so this must be my green light.. ;)
I *really* appreciate all of your support and will be sure to keep all you posted on anything funky going on! :P If what I experienced was a blockage release (so to speak) then it must have been a pretty big one cus it was like a big thing that the guy left behind. And to be honest I can feel bits of changes around me. I find all this kind of personal, maybe even intimate but it feels so real that you just can't help but sharing it. Don't know how to thank you... I'll be talking good about you "out there" thanks! ;D |
Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by Tayo on Oct 25th, 2005 at 12:35am
Recoverer,
What does the stardust mean to you? And I think that the energy was just at the top of my head... it felt "heavier" towards the outer parts of the top but can't remember feeling it in the back... I can't remember any dreams, just once in a while. Maybe my memory is really bad. But lately, after going to bed with thoughts of putting my intention on a certain something (as I've learned from you guys here), I've woken up the next morning with a certain feeling or even short phrases on my head which just proves that it's no joke. I haven't been able to put this much into practice yet, still trying to get used to it, figure out the meanings.. and not forcing it. Sasuke, I've been wanting to duplicate the experience but since I don't think i did anything to provoke it I'll have to find a way... I believe meditation was the key... but it was pretty spontaneous. We'll see what comes up next time. Thanks for your tip! Love, Carlos. wrote on Oct 24th, 2005 at 1:13pm:

Tayo:
First of all, please don't talk about me too much, because I'm still trying to figure it out. I shared what I've experienced thus far. Regarding the stardust, a couple of times after doing retrievels, I've seen light in unexpected forms. Verification comes in various ways. Regarding the energy you feel at the top of your head, I first felt it similar to how you feel it. Eventually the upper back portion of my head became more activated. Regarding dreams, I found that it is helpfull to keep a dream journal by your bed, and to take notes right after having a dream. Don't expect to remember all of them though. You'll remember the important ones. |
Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by Tayo on Oct 25th, 2005 at 4:31pm
Recoverer...
Last night I went to bed wanting to remember the dreams and well guess what... I had not one but two! The first one was right before waking up and the second one a few hours later while taking a nap. I couldn't remember the 1st one right away, it came back after a minute or two of waking up. They both seemed anf felt very real. On the first one I was driving very fast, moving through past all the traffic on some highway, there were a lot of cars around, I was racing this other car driven by some girl i liked.. etc.. after waking up from this one I was feeling not exactly dizzy.. more like spiraly.. lol.. very funky feelng. This all might be totally out of topic here but I guess many threads morph with age... :P Afterwards I had thoughts of the possibility that my consciousness regarded the dreams as a "past experiences" and moved on with its daily routine, forgeting about them. From these dreams I even remembered the feelings involved, which was very exciting! Also followed your advice about having the dream journal -before reading your message- and wrote them down as soon as I remembered them. I could go on and on.. somebody please stop me.. lol |

Tayo,
It's so great to listen to and feel your excitement about your self-discoveries! Isn't it wonderful to awaken to possibility? love, blink |
Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by Tayo on Oct 25th, 2005 at 9:19pm
Hi Blink :)
It's more than wonderful! It's more than blissful. Even though my 2nd dream wasn't as fun as the 1st one since these guys showed up (in these woods that I was hanging out in by myself) and they were kind of bugging me and even laughed at me once... I was really nervous and then something really amazing happened : I actually heard my own voice in the dream! It came out very tense, very nervous... I felt like a kid who had been cought smoking a.. I mean doing something bad... lol Can't help sharing this. Love, Carlos. |
Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by dave_a_mbs on Oct 25th, 2005 at 9:36pm
Hi Carlos-
Yeah - it's like smoking a --- but better. Keep doing it! It gets better! dave |
Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by Tayo on Oct 25th, 2005 at 10:18pm
Hey Dave!
My heart starts jumping around whenever I talk about this... and you say it gets better? Holy cramp! I've been giving this a lot of thought today. On this second dream I could hear the men's voices while walking around in the forest... and then they showed up and started playing with my head. They thought they were funny. There were three of them, a young man, a butler or servant and an older fellow. The youngest one was the one speaking to me. The others were like in tune with him and laughed at the same time. Do you think these men were my guides? Or were you guys playing hide and seek with me last night? Huh? :-/ The younger fellow looked kind of like Ryan (who posts here) even though I've only seen him on his avatar here. Love, Carlos. |
Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by recoverer on Oct 26th, 2005 at 10:47am
I don't tend to see guides during my dreams. I believe that dreams come from my higher self. They tell me lots of things about myself, and about other things.
They tend to be quite symbolic. But since the symbols are intended for me, they can always be figured out. Many times I thought, how am I going to figure this out? But almost every time I can figure it out. It helps to try to feel their meaning at times. After you do this for a while, you'll start to learn that dreams are much more than what somebody such as a Freudian psychologist might claim. |

Maybe i'm getting too excited. let me just chill for a while. I've read here that overreacting doesn't help much... :P

hehe, I remember when I first found these boards I got the same feeling, as if someone was patting\tickling my head, and now that I think about it, it feels as if a halo was around my head :D

Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by Tayo on Oct 26th, 2005 at 10:13pm
it felt like getting the scalp massaged or something, right? hehe
i was reading the gathering articles by mr. moen published on this website and found this quote very shocking because that's exactly how i felt on my second dream while walking in the woods (vantage point 1) and then while meeting with the guys (vantage point 2). Quote:
it is the only way to describe that feeling that i got. is there a forum for dreams? i feel this is out of topic already... ??? Yours, Carlos. |

I don't think you're out of topic, but here's a forum that talks about dreams. Third item down. You'll recognize some of the forum members.

Hey guys,
just want to say I too have this top-of-the-head-thing, since around a half year. Strongest at night, before sleeping. But haven't noticed a change in dreams or mind-journeys. Bye, Spooky |
Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by recoverer on Oct 27th, 2005 at 4:18pm
Yeah, it can be really strong at night while in bed. A couple of times during conscious dreams, I've heard and felt energy coming in. Or anyway, it seemed as if energy was coming in. I've also heard it coming in during those quickly changing images I see after waking up in the middle of the night (another post).

i imagine it is better to try and concentrate / relax to get this top-of-head feeling... which i feel very lucky to have experienced.
on another note, right after waking up this morning i got a 2-3 second memory / image of me 'flying' in big curves perhaps spirals..? the image was a bit dirty or fuzzy but i had felt the pressure of the turn.. that was sweet.. i've had a few dreams of flying in my life.. some pretty vivid.. never been able to 'control' them.. but this is awesome :o now if you'll excuse me i need to keep practicing.. lol good nite ;D |

Hi Recoverer,
What kind of sound does the energy make.. more or less? Are there different sounds for different types of energy coming in, or out, or thru...?? wrote on Oct 27th, 2005 at 4:18pm:

It's hard to think of anything comparable. Perhaps like water or air running through a pipe. Also, with kundalini, sometimes I'll hear a rumbling/vibrating sound either in my neck and/or head area.

last night I heard that rumbling sound 2 to 6 waves, I lost count, all over my being..I thought what's happening? am I required to come out of body? I thought maybe I should try to manipulate the energy to the heart, but it was a blanketed energy and not necessary to direct it. I became lucid with it. I've never heard the "vibration" before last night, it was like wind on a tin roof that was slightly loose, or maybe like being in a tunnel when a train comes thru. I wasn't afraid because it felt too much like PUL. nothing seemed to be required of me, so I just enjoyed it, whatever the source. I felt lit up like an xmas tree.
then I got up to check my email. my book had been rejected by the same people twice now. so, if this wave of PUL was a like a warning of something like a let down coming, it was the gentlest let down filled with love I've ever had! HAR! still scratching my head. I stopped getting this sort of thing regularly back in the 80's, and it was nothing like last night. oh tayo, dreams are on topic. frequently the deceased can only get thru to us while we sleep. great place to get messages. one time back in 2002 I got a nice message; it said you are the seeker, the finder and the observer. I said, well, I don't want to be 3 people. (just joking) the observer self was just beginning to develop. then I started having dreams I was watching myself from a location outside myself. I could also enter within dreamstate another form of somebody who was not me, but whom I was supposed "to play." when I entered the form with guides standing by watching, I lost my ability to observe and got lost in the role. at the right time, a guide would "wake me up" and take over, in this case, it was a retrieval situation. love and hugs, alysia |
Title: Re: Starting with a tickle on my head Post by Tayo on Oct 31st, 2005 at 4:31pm
Hi Recoverer,
I haven't experienced any rumbles as of yet, but these last few weeks i've been getting these annoying tickles on my feet.. lol.. they got on my nerves at first but now i just laugh it off and hide my feet.. :-/ Hey Alysia long time ;D I have a feeling that those could have been my guides, or "other me's" if there is ever such a thing. also somehow i felt each one of those 3 men were one of me: the sarcastic/funny one, the servant one and the old wise one.. lol.. i did feel relieved in some way afterwards. so it could be easy to believe that it was a retrieval. When you mentioned the deceased visiting us on dreams i remembered what got me started into all of this, when my grandmother visited me in this shiny vivid dream (i might have mentioned it before) quite a while after her passing away. Glad to hear from you. Love, Carlos. |
