Dark forces are mostly attracted by dark thoughts. So if you keep a colorful frame of mind, the darkness is bound to stay away... it might try to take a peek... maybe even stick out its tongue and make ugly faces at you... but then you would notice it and shine your flashlight of love/God on it.

Love,
Carlos.

Why, if love is so strong, can God/Love not vanquish the dark forces?

Where do the dark forces come from and how do they keep staying if Love is so unlimited?

This is not reassuring and very confusing.

Because God, or the Creative Forces did not create this.  The Creative Forces may not even be aware it exists, like it seems to exist to us.

We, Souls, individual aspects of the God Force created this illusion of evil...this came because of how much we separated ourselves from the awareness of the Creative Forces...once we did this Selfishness entered in (which wasn't known before), and once selfishness is known, then Fear is experienced...and darkness if of Fear energy, which is temporal and will not exist at some point...  In my mind, anything temporal is in the grand scheme of things, an illusion.

If fact, to say that we "created" this darkness energy, is a bit of a misnomer, since created implies reality...its more like we fooled ourselves into believing this actually exists...and while we believe, it still does.

Like Bruce talks about, its simply a matter of focus...  If you don't want to experience fear and darkness anymore, then focus on Love and Oneness energy--this automatically removes the fear/dark energy from your awareness.   And Love is far more powerful since it is the One true objective reality that all Souls can, and will eventually know again.

Love permeates all dimensions and Consciousnesses, and created all Consciousnesses...  It is all powerful, just as the individual who is constantly tapped into it is, like Yeshua, Buddha, and Krishna were (maybe to different degrees, but thats not the point and it doesn't matter).

But in the end, you and all must come to their own conclusions about the nature of reality, no one can tell you what reality is.... you have to live it, and there are no pat answers for that...just practice, practice, and more practice (its like anything, or trying to get anything accomplished)

First of all, I agree with what Justin wrote.

Here's are some more thoughts.

Consider the myth of satan (little "s" intentional). What's he supposed to be? A fallen angel? If you were an angel that was created by God (big "G" intentional), and you had access to his wisdom, love and glory, would you do something as stupid and heartless as satan (little "s" again)? Of course not.

I'm not a glorious angel. I'm learning my lessons just like other earth bound people. Yet I would never go in the direction that satan (little "s" once again) supposedly went.  I also know a number of good hearted people who aren't consciously spiritual, but also wouldn't go in the direction that satan (you know about the "s") supposedly went. So why would a supposed fallen angel do such a thing, when it starts off right away with the wisdom, love and glory of God?

And even if an angel did go astray, would God allow it to cause countless other souls which he loves very much, to suffer a similar miserable existence? I doubt it.

Some people might say because God allow beings to have a free will. Okay, but even if a glorious fallen angel for some "peculiar" reason allowed itself to go astray, why would it be allowed to impose its negative will on countless other beings? It just doesn't make sense.

Some people might say that God allows satan to exist as a test. Isn't the process of soul evolution difficult enough without the imposition of such foolish tests?

At times people take on negative tendencies not because they've been influenced by forces of evil, but rather because that is what they have learned. For instance, consider how many men have become abusive husbands, after watching their father beat their mother?

It's a cop out when people blame their negative tendencies on forces of evil. It is better that they take responsibility for them, so they can overcome them.

My guess is that for the most part the negative spirits that people experience in this World, are earthbound spirits with negative tendencies. They might be able to influence people with similar tendencies, who have cut themselves off from the goodness in their hearts, and their higher self. But how could a person who is in touch with the goodness in his or heart, and his or her higher self, possibly be effected by a negative earth bound spirit?

It seems to me that satan (yes, still small  "s") stories tend to come from people who want to control other people through fear. My guidance has  shown me in various ways that satan doesn't exist. God's universe has much more to do with love, even though people  get lost at times. In no way is evil on equal footing.

White Feather,

When we clear our minds and our hearts and we accept the light and the dark together... when we lose our desire to question why they exist... then we can notice the beauty around us, the play of light and dark on the world around us... and we realize that we are part of a magnificent creation... and we can love all of it, the dark and the light, and there is nothing to fear.

love, blink
