Title: 19,000 Dead in SE Asia
Post by DocM on Oct 9th, 2005 at 5:34am
The horror.  Sometimes, it is hard to accept the idea that hundreds of school kids, understood that when they came into existence, they would die this way (according to new age thinking).

I'm not sure what we know before we are born.  I hope those capable will help the transition.  We all know life is not fair, but sometimes, we have to wonder at devastation like this...

Uh, I think the idea is that the higher self knows and decides these things, not the concious mind. That's a big difference.

That doesn't mean the the concious mind isn't going to suffer if you see your beautiful little child's body destoyed by falling debris. All the communications I've read from different sources over the years sort fo portray the idea that the bliss of the other side kind of wipes out the pain thing.

We are taught to fear death. Fear is the motivation, not love, behind alot of so-called good works. I didn't think it was a new age message to not fear death. I grew up seeing an empty cross displayed for all to see on Sunday, the glory of Christ's triumph over death. Knowledge  that we all had anyway but we just had to be reminded of it. The reminder failed.

The people who need the most help are not the ones who have died but the ones who are left behind. Sometimes it's just hard to be a human. Peace to all the moms and dads....

I can't tell from the map..is the quake area inclusive of the area where Osama bin Laden is thought to be hiding or os ot to the east of that?

The quake is where Osama is.  How would my higher self decide that I should be a 3 year old at daycare, and have the building fall on me, and be crushed?

I just don't get that part of it.  I don't fear death, but I don't understand.

Matthew,

I can feel your distress at what is taking place, but  for a minute think in these terms, there is no death. The children who have passed have lived many life times, there souls will be returning to there over-souls re-merging back into, there all that is, there lessons from this incarnation will be absorbed ,and the process will continue.

These things are all planed ,they are not accidental, the souls agree to partake, the reasons are many and varied they maybe teaching others through there sacrifice, the value of each and every life. I know the lessons are extremely painful, and my heart goes out to all who are in pain.

I think we can all see there is real movement on our planet, the transition is in process. May all who pass in this time, move over with peace. and may those who remain love our mother earth the way we where designed to.

love to all

I know we can say the children didn't really cease to exist.  However they never got to experience much in reality, nor have many experiences.  Sure, if you believe, helpers may slowly school them.  Perhaps they may recall past lifetimes, but then why do it?

Why incarnate, to be killed in a school at age three?  Or four?  Sure you had love with your family, but your soul will be quite confused when you pass, and not have developed the maturity or intellect to process things.  Perhaps there is more randmoness to the process than you believe.  I understand both sides, but just don't know.

It is comforting to think that these souls all previously agreed to perish, but I don't think it may be that straightforward.

Best thoughts,

Matthew

we just don't have the whole picture yet, but one thing I feel is true, no life, even if the life is very short is a waste...something there...and energy never dies.

Matthew,

I cant prove it to you, but it is that simple. We tend to make all our lessons so much harder than they need be. We buy into the illusion that the physical is all there is, only to find when we pass back over that was the greatest lesson we where to face.

Don't be concerned for the children they did what was agreed upon. I know that with the disconnection its hard to perceive what I'm saying is real or true, but for one I would not lie to you and two the truth is the physical world is only part of who we are. There is so much more to our totality than just the here and now. So worry not, one day you will know what I am saying is true, and that each lesson in your life propelled you forward so you could raise your vibration ,and be reconnected to all that is.

love to you

This is difficult Matthew,

but to have existed is perfection.  There is nothing else.

No, Matthew, let me add to this:

This weekend I was at the coast.  I was walking along the water's edge, so beautiful, enjoying the feeling of the wet sand and water flowing over my feet as I walked in meditation.  After a time, I felt an unexplainable sadness overcome me.  Then, almost immediately, I noticed a very large monarch butterfly in the sand before me.  It's wings were pinned down by the wet sand.  I saw it and noticed it's beauty, thinking it was no longer alive.  As I continued to look at it I noticed that there was still movement there.  The little antennae were moving, the body was swaying.  There was no hope for it.  It would die.  However, it was still extraordinary.

What more can we understand.  What more can we know.

love, blink

I have to think about this question about the relationship of the individual personalities to the whole...I am used to it so it seems feasible to me...but it seems to me that you are asking a legitimate question about how do you know the relationship of the individual to the whole.

If I see myself as the child who transitions early, I'm not sure it is a big deal. If I see myself as the parent of a child who transitions, that's a big deal. How can you stand to be here without your child? But to experience leaving here early is no big deal. Life is not that much fun, but then if you leave early, you have to give up opportunities for growth. But maybe that particular life doesn't have opportunities for you. Maybe your role was to provide opportunities for someone else to experience some things. Besides, as a child, you haven't invested alot in a life, maybe it is easy to just come back again.

But I personally don't have any of those in-between-lives experiences that might shed some light on this. I don't have any memories of how the soul might experience the early demise of one of its personalities. Given all the things that humans can go through, I don't see any reason to think the souls are wringing their hands about individual suffering. They seem pretty detached from it to me. I mean, sometimes angels show up and help people (at least I hear they do) but most of the time we get to suffer through or enjoy  consequences all by ourselves.
