The angels among us,
does anyone know
what gives them comfort
in the places they go?

Are they so perfect
or can they be flawed?
Can they ever retire
from working for God?

actually we do have some lovely angels among us, that I have met here and there. one was a minister practicing in the Prysbyterian church, and retired, leaving the care of the flock to his son.
now, y'all, I did only attend this church for a month and I was very young...I am not a church attender, but rather regard this forum as a community, not a church.
I had wondered how he could retire, when I needed him? ;D  I could sense his kindness, and his wisdom, far greater than my own at the time.
apparently, although he had retired in a physical way, he did appear to me within astral and set my fears to rest regarding the state of my own soul....we didn't even discuss religion, not at all. he had come out of retirement "for me."   ;D  dontcha love it!!

I'm not certain, but I've had experiences/insights which have shown me that time isn't real. Therefore, when you've completed your spiritual evolution and go beyond time, you'll find that everybody else has completed their spiritual evolution too.

This makes my heart feel good, because I don't know if I could ever feel completely happy, as long as I knew that there were a countless number of beings still suffering.

My best guess is that God completed the jigsaw puzzle of the universe, in one brief moment. It just doesn't seem that way when you're one of the pieces.
