Hello friends:

What is it about this day that you would like to remember when you reach your afterlife?

yours, blink

What do I want to remember about today specifically?

Actually, today I've been thankful for being in good health despite stress in my life right now.

I was also thinking how happy I am to have my family.  (After our hamster dying last night, it really made us all think about life and death, even though he was just a hamster.  My kids are still young enough to be confused by death).

I just received a wonderful e-mail from someone telling me how much they appreciate my friendship and telling me I'm loved!

And, I just scored really awesome BNL concert tickets!

Vicky  :)

PS--I, too, appreciate everyone on this board.  Without this place, I would not have grown as much as I have since I came here.  Thanks to everyone for doing what they do!

What I want to remember about this day is that I have truly lived.

Today I have felt every emotion known to man, and lived through it, come out on top of it smiling...and look around at the company I keep!

Yes, this is a day I want to remember.

love, b

I think I will remember today that people can still amaze me so much...their profundity, their humor, their balance, their generosity, their enthusiasm, their insight, their love for their children and the time they put into this forum just so I can feel the way I do right now...

I can appreciate this day because of friends that I sometimes take for granted and don't mean too, but I do appreciate all of you very much. I have learned so much here and other boards that I am truly blessed to say the least and have made lasting wonderful relationships with lots of Great people even if I do sometimes get the gender wrong for a while! Ha Ha

Light and Love to all, Ricky

I will tell you what it is about this day.....
Today, my little granddaughter MiKayla is coming out to have a sleep over with me. She has been soooooo excited about for the last 5 days, when we first made plans for this. She packed her bags days ago....and every day has called me on the phone several times and left messages ( while I have been at work) to tell me how excited she is, how many days are left...and to tell me what she is packing to bring over.....! Let me tell you, her many bags are full!!
Since we are going to be having a pillow fight tonight....she wants to bring her own 'special' pillow ...omg, can't imagine what that means for me!!
We have lots of playing outside to do.....gathering of 'fall' things from nature to decorate the house and table for Thanksgiving with...popcorn to eat while watching Garfield's and Charlie Brown's Halloween shows......and endless stories to read and songs to sing.
'Our' song from the day she was born is: You Are My Sunshine......It will be a time for tonnes of hugs, kisses and snuggles to be shared between MiKayla and her Meema... ;D
Her excitement is nothing short of heart warming...I love her so much....and she tells me that she loves me more than all the stars in the universe......
This is in all it's entireness, is what I want to remember about this day..when I go to the afterlife.
