Title: Question re' recalling your dreams, Post by LightR_on on Sep 26th, 2005 at 11:12pm
How often do you recall your dreams?
Once a week, once a month? Do you find that there are certain times of the month your more inclined to recall? Love to all |

there must be a pattern. good question. I will venture to say twice a week currently, as an average only. what about yourself?
and then I usually only dream if I am working on a project, or have some question to offer life for assistance to understand. unless its a dream depiction of some future occurence, these I never ask for, which is a different type of dream, those I will only get once every several months and they are hard to not remember, as they are stronger? not sure how they are different, I'm just more present or lucid then. some of the future dreams are distincly obes, some not so easy to say in that category, but to say dreaming true. |

Alysia,
My goal is to become fully conscious,I am working on it. I recall quite allot but as with these things once you have the taste you just want more. I love it and I believe this to be one of the keys to unlocking the universal mind held deep within us all. There is great growth too be found within the astral plane, I hope to in the future inspire others to take the challenge and intend to reconnect. Love to you |

oh, yes! this is wonderful, my goal is the same. to become fully conscious..let me put it in my own words, not that yours are deficient, but self expression helps to create reality..so I talk alot...ha! to become fully conscious in the now moment has been my goal for about 5 years in a more concentrated way, although I had been returning to that thought for 20 years previously. I more or less stay within the now moment consistently these days, so feel I have achieved some sort of balance between two worlds here/there. but it's ongoing process as you said. several affirmations my guides gave me to infer this point are : We are the ones we have been searching for It doesn't get any better than what it is now Is your cup half full or half empty? my other theory to sail on during meditation is that the subconscious and the conscious can merge to form one reality, thus ending the need to be instructed within dream guidance and thus the fullness we would be talking about, a merge as it were. this blending would naturally occur upon death. however, it's my theory that you don't have to die physically to "know" everything in the now moment. I may be a futurist in that case, as this is how I see humanity marching towards this. happy day to you! love, alysia |

I recall my dreams almost every day. But I still have limitations and ideas to get rid of, and my guidance provides me with instruction through my dreams.
I share your idea of becoming more unified with my entire self, and believe that pondering my dreams helps me do so. |

Sometimes my dreams explain how things work.

I used to be real steady about writing them down when I woke up..I've gotten lazy lately though.
I usually do remember upon waking, thinking I'll remember later and write it then, but it just doesn't happen. :-/ Last night..there was an Indian woman in my dreams (From India, not American Indian) I can't recall beyond that..but it was so active! |

dreams are really fun way to wake up to reality my opinion. inventors who work on inventions will sometimes find the answer to their problem within dreams. if I'm faced with a hard decision I can usually get the answer in two days or so within dream scouting. love, alysia

I have better luck recalling my dreams if I get a lot of sleep, but if it's less than 5 or 6 hours a night then I rarely remember them.
I got extra sleep last night and remembered a dream, the details of which are too weird so I won't explain it. But I became lucid and decided to not play with the dreamscape but to go OBE. I tried to will myself to ignore my dream surroundings and go out of body, but everything just quaked around me and I ended up with a false awakening. I was put back into a previous dream thinking that I had actually woken up, having lost lucidity. |

I have no pattern that I am aware of. It seems pretty random to me.
"my other theory to sail on during meditation is that the subconscious and the conscious can merge to form one reality, thus ending the need to be instructed within dream guidance and thus the fullness we would be talking about, a merge as it were. this blending would naturally occur upon death. however, it's my theory that you don't have to die physically to "know" everything in the now moment. I may be a futurist in that case, as this is how I see humanity marching towards this." I think this is the next step in humankind's evolution, to be connected to both greater and physical reality at the same time, or at will. |
