Title: Group Consciousness Jump
Post by Mr_Satan on Sep 6th, 2005 at 5:52pm
This is an honest question.  Many expect that soon, there will have been enough people who have raised their consciousness, that a critical mass will be reached.  The force of this mass of enlightened or partly enlightened people will the be strong enough to bring about positive changes on the earth, in politics, business, health, education, art, etc.

Many of the practices of those who claim higher/expanded consciousness come from eastern countries like tibet, china, india and nepal.  Those countries, which originally were the homes of spiritual practices have been far behind the west in standards of living, health, medicine, housing, social services, education, food production, etc.

As well, at the time that spirituality was at it's peak in western europe was during the dark ages, under catholicism.  The grip of the dark ages was broken by the imporation of new ideas from the arabs in the middle east by the knights templars.  The returning templars put into practice new and beautiful stone construction.  It started a construction boom that flowed across europe.  As well, they introduced a form of capitalism and credit.

It was capital, stone and work which reversed the decline, not the spiritual.  It appears that the rational materialist culture benefits civilisation more than does the mystical.  Don't get me wrong, i like the spiritual part.  For instance, i had a great qigong session today, as i watched the sun set over the river.  Should the material hard science take precedence over the mystical?  Is a 100% materilaist society better than a 100% spirtualist society?  If so, why then the need for the quantum leap of consciousness?

MS not the devil's advocate

Hi Mr. Satan,
I had a year of Qi Gong sessions with a teacher from China who was a true believer. I mean, that a Qi Gong master is a living Buddha, can walk through walls, don't need to eat, can heal everything, can make himself invisible etc. I liked him and his belief, cause I am fascinated by those miraculous things. Maybe there are some of that masters, and the poor people around know that somehow, and that's what they live in and they don't want western style living? Well ok, when they are hungry, they want food...Don't know.
Bye, spooky

I think a merge between science or technology and religion/spirituality is on the horizon. a marriage, leading to the shift in consciousness..it's not about either/or it's about embracing, not separatism or division. all I know is, we are in for one hell of a ride, so hold onto your hats and enjoy it. love, alysia

Spooky

I have heard stories like that about masters.  They could be true, but i would like to see it w my own eyes.

Some people think that quantum physics will get into the mystical.  Could be, who knows.  You have a message.

Its hard to say what is held within our group consciousness, and how far as a hole we can move forward. But as for the material world ,it is but a representation of our inner turmoil.Never forget this physical being you reside within is but a vehicle for you to grow through, you are not the physical you are ,your soul. Everything you move through here is for your souls growth, and after you past over back to your true self, there is only what you have learned left. You cant take it with you!(the physical that is) ,maybe a very old saying but never truer words have been spoken.

Don't on any level let the material deceive you,for here in this plane of existence is the challenge ,and that challenge is to maintain your purpose and to view this physical world for what it truly is,your play ground designed by you so you can grow.

For many reasons, atheist Howard Storm's NDE in the early 1980s is the most convincing NDE I've ever encountered.  Here is an excerpt from his book "My Descent into Death,"  pp. 44-46, in which "Jesus and the angels" allow Storm to see the future 200 years from the early 1980s:

"God is is going to end the Cold War.  God loves every creature, and God will not let the world be destroyed by people." "How is God going to do that?"  God is changing the hearts of people to love around the world." "The Cold War won't end for a hundred years," I insisted.  "The Cold War will end in a couple of years."  [Note: Storm had his NDE 2 years before the fall of Communism.]  I was skeptical, "What will come next?"  "The world is at the beginning of a major transformation.  It will be a spiritual revolution that will effect every person in the world."  I asked what the world would be like when this change takes place.

We were in a beautiful natural wooded setting.  There was no evidence of human intrusion or man-made devices.  They told me that this was the future and that we were in a garden that people tended. . .The were dressed simply and wore exotic ornaments.  They resembled native Americans in their dress.  I asked what they did.  Everyone spent the majority of their time with the children, teaching them about love and the wonders of the natural world.  They didn't make any distinction between work and play...People raised food by sitting next to plants and communing with them.  In a few minutes they could harvest mature fruits and vegetables.  They ate what they grew immediately, without cooking....

I asked, "Is this Paradise?"  They laughed and said, "No, ...in this future world people will have sickness, but the treatment for disease will always be successful.  People will gather around the person in need of help and through prayer, touch, and meditation the disease will be cured... Collectively, all the people of the world will control the weather.  The climate will be regulated by the collective will of humankind....All animals will live in harmony with people. ..There will be no technology because there will be no need for devices, since humans will have the power to control matter and energy..."

Everybody was a student of nature, which they knew intimately and with which they could communicate, knowing the sensations and vibrations of every part of creation.  People explored outer space without moving an inch.   People communicated telepathically with everyone on Earth and had relationships with intelligent beings on other worlds...People stayed put and shared life experiences across galaxies...When a person was satisfied that he had had all the life experience he needed, the community gathered around him.  They had a celebration while such a person lay down and his spirit moved to heaven...
They lived to love God, love one another, and love themselves.

I was amazed because I thought the future world would look like the science fiction I had been raised on.  The future I was being shown was completely different from what I expected.  People lived in extreme simplicity and harmony.  There was no want.  Everyone was happy.  There was no conflict.  I asked, "When will this come about?"  They said, "In 200 years."

Berserk,

I believe that this world spoken of ,is indeed where we are headed. The growing pains are evident,a return to nature and the love of all life is needed. We as a hole have to relearn the value of our souls, the purpose of what we came here for.

I would give up all my luxury's for peace and reconnection to the mother of my soul.To live once again in harmony.

White feather

The question of nature vss nurture always pops up, imo, to muddy the waters.  Perhaps the eastern countries chose the mystical/material poverty/subservience path because it suited their nature.  Perhaps stepping out, taking the risks of the new, making long term goals was not in agreement w their nature.

In the west, rome was expansionist, antimystical before ever christianity was introduced.  Seen in that light, christianity may have been a tool for their use in expanding their empire as far as they could.  Within that paradigm, evangelisation was one of the driving forces in the discovery of america.  Perhaps christianity was chosen over the other religions of the time because it agreed more w the nature of romans.

Quote:
Which means that advancement driven by money and fear often goes faster (although it has less chance to be moral, even if the final outcome looks moral), but if it would be driven by love and happiness anyone could choose to go as fast.

Good points.  Fear is a better motivator than is love, unfortunately.  Not that love isn't a strong motivator, but that love is not as contagious as is fear.

Money seems an even better motivator.  Money is like magic; in todays system, it can be turned into almost anything.  Both fear and money are driving the american military industrialist capitalist machine at this time, and has been basically since the second world war.  The only thing which slightly deflected it for a while was the hippie/drug movement of the sixties.

Morals are determined by the victors.  They have very little bearing in the big picture.

Hi,

Perhaps the ideal product of any civilization should be a whole and happy person in harmony with his/her self, culture and livelihood, creative and free throughout his/her existence.

In my understanding happiness is not dependent on how technologically advanced the civilization is but how advanced the human is in response to it.

If humanity reaches a state of true harmony it seems the world would naturally be one we could all perceive as perfect.  This would indeed be heaven on earth.

Hey i do agree the shift is near or starting to happen but predicted less than 200 years!? wow! Kinda close, guess were just on the last tail end of people involved in the change before thenc change is "nromal".

I have read about making yourself invisible, transportation, walking through walls etc. i don't knwo how i came across it but was quite interesting. Involved years of practice and breathing techniques to make you really light and i dont know lol but if you google it your definatly find it, is it really possible though!?

surly if this was shown people would believe, well some, some would think it was a made up magic trick, hmmm
