This soul has chosen huge lessons, perhaps not for her but for all those around her. Of course the video brought tears to my eyes. I feel the big lesson for mankind is that it doesn't matter how a person looks, it's what they are inside that is important. And acceptance.

I watched that show on TV last night.  I always find medical conditions fascinating.   My oral presentation for Anatomy and Physiology class (many moons ago) was about severe birth defects and it included Treacher-Collins syndrome.  One thing I learned was that it was not so long ago that babies like this died shortly after birth only because we weren't as knowledgeable as we are now.  Of course no one ever talked about it back then.  We live in a time now where these babies have a wonderful chance of survival.  I see it as an incredible experience for everyone this little person touches.  Mairlyn is right, the real lesson seems to be for everyone else who sees this girl and what they can learn from it.  There is a huge learning and growth opportunity for many.
