Prill's post about dying in the cold brought to mind a memory from long ago.  
When I was a young teen, I used to have this "vision" of sorts..kind of like a daydream.  I was in ice..very deep, like a big hole.  Just laying there, but quite content.
Now, considering that I was born in California, spent time in Germany where it hardly ever snowed (I can only remember one time) and then only about a year in actual snow at around 9..the rest of the time in South Central Texas, where we have hardly had snow (the last time was in 1985, long after this vision) it seems it can not be a "this time" memory.  
Could this possibly be another life memory?  It always seemed so natural, to be there, in that cave of cold..and seemed a happy time.
Any thoughts?

It feels..pleasant and content.  LIke I was really happy, you know?  There was nothing frightening about the thought of being "in the cold and ice"..

I'm thinking past life too..I cannot imagine where it came from other than that.

Well that's good that it's not a frightening thought. I was thinking that perhaps you died that way but it also could be a life on another planet, dimension, etc. and this was a happy memory of that life.  ???

Is there a way that it could be a prebirth memory, the ice being the perception of the surroundings, not about the tempurature?  Just a question.

Hmm..I never thought about that, MS..it was so vivid in the ice/snow..and bright white.  I think I'll meditate on it bit..see if I can remember anything else.

More clues would be helpful! lol

Might just open up the mystery that little extra so we can see where it is or/and where its from...
