It's my understanding that major events in our lives occur preplanned and for a reason(s).

My particular question is: if I am with someone and she believes we are meant to be together, and I don't mean because of infactuation, how do I know if she is right, that her sense of things is correct? In other words, how do I find out or otherwise tell if a relationship is predetermined and for what purpose? A lot is on the line.

I would meditate on it and ask the question and it will come to you in some way................voice, thought, feeling (maybe not right away either).  It may take awhile for the answer to come to you, but you will know and remember that you asked.

Relationships are certainly to be cherished and honoured. And most often, it is our own capacity for lucidity or clarity, in terms of being able to understand the true meaning of the issues within the relationship, that determines how successful (in the greater spiritual/consciential context) a relationship is.
