As I was drifting off to sleep a few nights ago...
I suddenly was unable to move. I wasn't really
scared or anything, but then again I MIGHT have
been sleeping before... I'm not sure. What I DO
remember is that I was in bed, laying on my belly
as I always do, when it started...
After a weird, "vibrating" sensation, I groggily and
with difficulty "stood up from my body", as a buzzing
sound was intensifying. Then, as if through a window, as I was "standing"... my surroundings had
completely changed, and I saw a distorted, blue face.
I walked into a room full of high-tech looking equipment. I do not recall seeing any faces in detail at this point...
I tried to cut wit a little. I said to my "host", "You
aren't gonna give me an anal probe, are you?"
To which my host responded, "We might..."
I then was shown a computer monitor, with some
stuff on it I was supposed to identify... a test or
something. Obligingly, I began to work on the
first exercise (matching something, I think...)
Then abruptly, I was wide awake again, in bed.
I suspect this was just a weird dream. OR...
Did I actually go out of body here?
Pretty weird stuff. ESPECIALLY because the memory of it stuck, and didn't fade away... I went back to sleep after that, and STILL remember it.
Any feedback here?

It happened about dawn, so the sun was out...
And I think I was only asleep about an hour
or less... so whatever occurred (if anything) didn't
have much of a "window of opportunity".
Weirds me out big time!

hehehe..Just reminds me somewhat of what I used to experience. I don't anymore. But they called what I was going through as night terrors.  Now I just sleep walk occasionally. Runs in the family. One night I fell asleep in bed and woke up to this wierd mechanical noise. I opened my eyes, aware that I was now awake and could see this cat-size robotic silver insect tottering on my bed post. lol It was trying to inject me with something so I flew out of bed and broke my dang toe! lol   ( now I am going to go hide for telling the world about this one)

I've had similar experiences before. The paralisys and sounds are very typical symptoms of OBE. If you can't get it conciously, you might end up in quite unpleasant places. I'd label your experience as quite nice, looking at it from a wider perspective  ;)
I've had many situations in which I was shown a screen (usually a movie screen) with either math or physics eqasions...films about someones life...films how snowflakes are made....My friend says that if you practice you are able to use this screen in regular life in order to gather information from "different" sources.
