Has anyone on this site ever actually seen a spirit ??? i mean has one clearly appeared to you and if so did it talk? or what did it do and how did it feel ???

I've never seen one, but I've heard a couple of small children. They didn't sound any different than anyone else. They just weren't visible. No special, scary Hollywood sound effects or anything.

How did it feel? They were behind me and goofing around and it was annoying me because I was trying to get some work done. When I turned to see there was nobody physically there, suddenly my work was done. Kind of unnerving at the time.

I think I discovered Bob Monroe's books shortly after that and eventually found my way here.

Yes, I one time saw my cousin Jerry who had died 25 years previously. He was 13 when he died and had been very ill all his life due to having been born with holes in his heart.

I was in a full, waking state working at the computer and "felt" something behind me. I looked around and Jerry was standing there smiling at me. He looked to be around 20 (and not 13 when he died). He also had great color (while alive here he was always quite pale) and for some odd reason, he was wearing a suit and tie. He didn't say anything but just smiled. He was absolutely radiant. I couldn't say exactly how long I saw him there; it felt like a few seconds - no more than 20.

It took me a couple of months of thinking that I was losing my rational mind before I came to my senses and embraced this as a gift from Above.

I've also had ongoing communication (but have never seen) my fiance' who died in the Vietnam war.  The communication didn't start until about 12 years ago.

Ive seen spirits most of my life.  With me the comunication is always telepathic. Ive been asked to follow, asked for help, watched them express feeling, been attacked, been watched..... ive watched them too. Some are light faintish outlines, some have denser clear details.  At night they used to parade into my bedroom to see me. I think they knew I could see them. Some are wandering in the darkness and see our light, it attracts them.  You feel what they feel, thats how they feel.  ALOHA

Yes Wolf, I have seen them and interacted with them.  Communication is usually telepathic in that I will simply know what they are saying to me, but there are times when I will also hear the words they are saying.  

For example, when my father passed I heard someone call out his name twice before he left his body.  When interacting with them they are of a very high vibration and I feel an amazing love from them PUL.  I could give many, many examples of these events in my personal experience and those that others have shared with me.  There is no doubt that we are eternal beings and that our natural state of being is that of love.

Your Casey is communitcating with you in the ways you have described in your other posts.

An orb passed by outside my windows at night. It was white, a little larger than a basketball, spherical and slightly irregular at the surface, a little like cotton candy.  It moved at the rate of a foot in about 3 seconds, going from outside one window, behind the partition between the windows, to outside  the other window, then disappeared. It was opaque, clearly visible, but did not radiate any light so as to illuminate anything. It did not communicate anything.

I was unconcerned and merely observed it. I made some checks with a flashlight to see if there could be anything to explain it, but it was unmistakable that it was a real orb.

My place has been haunted at various times, by ghosts described by people staying here.

you guys are very lucky to have seen spirits they never appear to me.
in the weeks leading up to her death , we used to joke around with me telling her that she had to come see me , but that she wasnt allowed to sneak up on me and make me jump...she used to laugh and pull a cheeky face and poke her tongue out saying she gotta have some fun :)

she was never ever scared of death she seemed to always know and tell me that she would come see me and indeed sleep with me every night...  i still think alot about her starting to see angels 2 weeks prior to her death because as i have said in other threads , although she had cancer , it hadnt got to the stage of limiting her physically yet, indeed on the day before she died she had taken her grandchildren swimming it was only afterwards she collapsed. but my point is , that at the time i kept sating every day to her have you seen anymore angels , and she would say " oh yes " " all the time now" and i would say to her that it was odd cos she wasnt gonna die yet cos was so fit still.
but of course i was wrong cos 2 weeks after her first angel appeared , she died :(

casey was always at one with herself, and used to say how she kept seeing a ghost cat  in house, noone else could see it , but she saw it plain as day.

That's wonderful that Casey was so open to the afterlife. Wolf, you can learn how to access the afterlife and be with her. As was suggested before, read this website, read Bruce's books. His last book is his workshop with CD's for learning. It's really so much easier than people realize. When I first read Bruce's first book, I was so hooked and had to learn it too. Because Casey saw angels and even a ghost cat I am so very sure she is accompanied right now and it is such a whirlwind for her over there that it probably seems like half a second to her that she has been there.  

The spirits I have seen were in dreams.  A workmate of mine died of cancer and many weeks later I unexpectedly had a dream that she was sitting at a picnic table with friends surrounding her and she looked so happy and beautiful with her hair all grown back.  She was the center of attention there.  I just knew she was okay although I had wept sadly at her funeral.  

I have seen some of my relatives in dreams, and I have heard what certainly has sounded like angelic music in my dreams when quite young.  

I think Mairlyn's advice is excellent to do a little reading so when you begin to have experiences they will make sense to you.  You have a searching soul and it will not be turned down.

Yes I have seen a spirit,but not as some other people have.All the spirits ive seen are in solid form.People who I have known,who have past over.The most amazing one ive seen was a little girl who was my playmate,who died 58 years.This happened 5 years ago.I am a school crossing guard.On that after crossing all the kids,I walked to my car to drive home.Than I saw another little girl coming down the road.I waited for her to come closer.she did not have a school pack like the rest of the kids.In fact she was dressed like kids dressed way back in the 40s.When I saw her face,I could not beleive what I was seeing.It was mary,my little playmate who died at the age of 10.She was full of life,and when she spoke to me,I remembered her voice.Than the most amazing thing happened.Marys mothers face began to form on the side of her face.her mother died at the age of 80,yet here she looked to be in her 20s.I asked her who fixed her hair that was set in ringlets.She I did it myself.I was about to ask her another question,when she just vanished.It took me a long time to get home that,and I will never forget it.George

Many years ago I worked in a small factory.  The president of our Company died in the Virgin Islands about 1 1/2 years after I was hired.  I did not attend his funeral.
Two weeks after his death I was packing small car parts into a wooden crate and looked up to see Mr. Droulet approaching me. I knew no one else could see him and I believed he was in my mind's eye.  The vision kept getting stronger and clearer.  I stared at him and he became very solid looking and he continued to come towards me.  I shook my head in an effort to rid myself of the vision.  I didn't help.  I leaned down into the crate and refused to look at him but I knew he was still coming to me.  I was sure that he was standing right beside me.  I knew that if I would look up ....he would be looking straight at me.  I looked up (I couldn't help it) Mr. Droulet was NOT looking at me ....he was standing beside me and looking over into the corner of the building that held our mill.  I do not exaggerate when I say that this experience lasted for AT LEAST 2 full minutes.  It was at this point that he suddenly disappeared.  Three days later another girl who worked there had a dream and she dreamed my exact experience.....even to the suit that he was wearing.
He didn't speak to me....I just thought that he didn't know he was dead and was walking through the building as he often did in life.  At that particular time in my life I was going to some classes and doing a lot of meditation.  Every time I meditate alot I seem to have strange or different experiences.  This experience was NOT frightening. It was exciting....Mr. Droulet in life was a very sweet man.  I never saw him again although I worked there for another 18 years

So neat to tell some of my experiences with like- minded people. I don't tell people any thing like this in my offline life except close loved ones.    When I was around 3 years of age, my father would pick me up from the baby sitters every afternoon. We passed a grave yard on our way home every day. At the time I didn't know what a grave yard meant..but one day as we passed by, I remember looking above the trees and seeing a halo..yes, a halo.. floating up towards the sky. I tried to point it out with my hand. I didn't have the word power to explain it to my father. Later on in life I reminded him of what I now could say I saw and he told me he thought it was the strangest thing at the time, as they had just did a burial in that specific spot.  Amazing what little children can see.

A few years after my experience above with Mr. Droulet, I divorced and moved into a 2 bedroom apartment.  Shortly after moving in I began to get a fleeting glimpse of someone or something going down the hallway or going into one of the rooms.  It followed a pattern of coming out of the 2nd bedroom, going in or out of the bath and going in or out of the kitchen.  This went on for about 1 1/2 years until my son came back from California and moved in with me to get himself a new start.  Two weeks after moving in he sat on the couch and shouted out to me in the kitchen "Hey Ma, you know what? Your not living here alone".  I aksed him what he meant and he proceeded to tell me all about seeing the same thing I was seeing.   Scott stayed with me for about 4 months and continued to see this entity the whole while he was there.
A couple of months after he left my oldest daughter came to visit from Arizona.  The first afternoon she was there she said "You know what?  If I squint my eyes and don't look straight at it.....there is someone standing in your hallway"  I said "Is it a man or a woman?"  She said "I think it's a woman in a long blue gown"  I said "My gosh Jan, you are the third person to be aware of this entity ot whatever it is and it makes sense to me.  A older lady who is ill going back and forth to the bath and to the kitchen for a cup of tea"  Well, needless to say....Jan slept with me her whole visit because she was scared of "that lady"

It never frightened me because I felt I was watching some kind of movie or something.  It always did the same thing and didn't seem aware of me.  Only one night I awoke suddenly with my eyes shut and thought she was standing over me.  I smelled a very strong odor of lilac or roses or some other old time garden flower.  I opened my eyes and sat up.  She was not there and the smell lingered only a moment and was also gone.  The "Blue Lady" was my companion for over 3 years and when I finally moved she stayed on in the apartment.  I have 3 other children who were often at my apartment and often stayed over but never experienced the "Blue Lady"

During the same period of time as the "Blue Lady" I had a somewhat different kind of happening with spirit.  My company split into 2 buildings and the new one was in another small town about 8 miles away. I drove to the new building past some property that had once held a home that had since burnd down.  Each day as I passed it I had a very uncomfortable feeling.  I felt a forbodding or evil sensation. I didn't like it at all.  I started trying to ignore it and not looking at it as I drove by.  I became very aware that IT or whatever.....was very aware of ME.  I started to drive a differemnt way to work which added a number of miles to my trip....but I didn't want to go past the land.  This was usually the type of property that I liked to walk around on and find the old flowers and bushes etc.  My family said "lets go walk around on that old burned down house land" and I said "NO.....that's just what that spirit wants...it wants me to come there"

Anyway, to shorten up the story.  I had a terrible dream in which the entity tried to get me....   I found out someone was murdered on that land...  and FINALLY it let go of me.  I can drive by now and not even think of it.

But.....I'll tell you what....If I saw someone trying to build a house there I would (at the expense of looking like a fool) warn them NOT to live there because some kind of evil entity is still lingering there

  I have seen dis-incarnate entities at least a couple of times. The first time was 20 years ago in Florida. I was living with my father in a mobile home. One night around 2:30 am, I woke up and went out to the living room. I saw someone sitting in the dark on the chair and assumed it to be my father so I said "Hello Dad, how come you're up so late?". Then whoever it was got up and started walking toward me. Just as I realized that it wasn't my father, the ghost turned into a blue sphere; then into a rolling mist; then vanished.
  The most recent time was just a couple of weeks ago. I recently moved and have been here since January. I woke up around 3:00 am and was surprised to see some sort of translucent creature by the side of the bed. I had the impression of it being either a dog or a cat, as it seemed to want to be petted. So I reached out to touch it, but my hand just went through it. Also it seemed to have swirling offshoots surrounding it, reminding me of one of the entities seen in the movie Poltergeist. I later found out from a neighbor that the previous owner had 4 dogs when living here. I'm not frightened by any ghostly experiences, and actually wish to have some more.   :-)

I've seen many spirits my whole life.  I am thankful to have discovered Bruce's work because it has helped me make sense of all of my experiences.  Some appear solid and seem just like a physical person, some are transparent, one appeared as a cloud and we had a telepathic conversation. After my cat died he came to me and I could hear and feel him but not see him.  I thought one spirit was a regular physical person until one time he appeared before me out of thin air.  One little girl kept sneaking up behind me and as I turned to see her she would leave, but I was always left with a vision of her in my head so I didn't actually see her with my physical eyes.  She came to me on several occasions and finally I actually did a retrieval type of thing with her without realizing what retrieval was.  This was way before I read Bruce's books.  But it worked and she never came back.   Like I said, knowing Bruce's work has made a lot of my strange experiences make a lot of sense.

At the cost of boring a few people I have had several other unusual experiences happen to me.
I owned a house for 10 years and nothing happened there except seeing a cat run through once... and seeing little weasel like creatures scuddling (sp.) along the walls in the evenings.  When I brought it up with friends they said "well, it's an old house....maybe it used to be a shed or barn at one time"
I moved into another house and was there for 5 years.  The same little weasels and mice were with me.  I ignored them pretty much as I was used to them.
Then, I moved into my present home and my oh my how interesting.  I get dishes rattling in the sink at night.....except there are NO dishes in the sink.  Shadows are everywhere.  I'm always turning to see who is there or calling out to my youngest son  (who lives with me now) to see if he is doing something.
Last year my lights blinked on and off.....on and off....especisally in the bathroom.  I had Steve change all the lights every where.  He went to visit a friend and at 11:30 pm I went into the bath and the lights began blinking . I scared me and I turned and screamed at the light fixture "STOP IT....your scaring me "  Just like that....it stopped and from that day to this not a light in the house has blinked.
At that time, I had lost my mom and 2 sisters.  Afterwards I was sorry I got scared because I thought maybe my mom was trying to say hello.  It WAS a strange happening and when I told my sister about it she said her lights had been doing the same thing at that time and she made her husband change all the bulbs too.

I saved the best for last.
I have a beautiful swag lam that I bought 30 years ago after visiting it several times in the store.  It was very expensive....but I finally bought it.  I call it my castle lamp.  It has 3 lights that are gold with stained glass on each side.  Each of these have crystal teardrops going around them and they hang at different heights.  The only thing it's useful for is it's ability to add beauty to any room.  It's in the far corner of my bedroom.  To bump into it you would have to throw yourself into the wall.
I set 2 earings on my dresser, side by side.  they were 10 feet away from the lamp.  The next day.....one earing was moved up 3 or 4 inches and 1 crystal teardrop was sitting next to the remaining earing.....making a pair.  I was absolutely fascinated when I searched and found that the teardrop had come off the backside of my lamp.  The little hook on the crystal was still in a hook even though the wire is thin and you could easily straighten it out.  About 6 months went by and by god.....it happened again.  Only this time there were 2 crystals involved and on my dresser in the same place.
My youngest daughter came over a week later and I was telling her about it.  I was convinced my mom was going this trick.  Sandy said "Mom, did you look at the lamp today.....let's go look"  I said  "Sandy I looked every morning this week and nothing has happened"  As i said this I was following her into my bedroom and sure enough when we looked there were 2 crystals missing off the back of my lamp ....but....they were NOWHERE in sight.  She and I searched for 10 minutes all over the floors and furniture and nothing.  Finally in the end...Sandy found one under my bed about 2 feet in and about 4 feet down the wall from the lamp.  The other one just appeared in a slipper that we had already searched and shook 1/2 hour earlier.  We were both amazed and if anything ever convinced me that there is spirit around...that experience did.  There is nothing that can explain it.  We rehooked the crystals again and it's ended there.  Every now and then I look but I always feel like someone is saying   "Hey!!  It was not a comedy act....I was just trying to say hello....get a life".......grin....
So I guess I'm not psychic but I do believe that I am sensitive.   My newest experience...if you want to call it that...is instead of seeing so many scurrying little animals..I am starting to fall asleep and jerk awake to strange surroundings.  Just for a few seconds...I don't recognize where I am.  Shadows appear also but they are larger, like people walking by. Last night I awoke and thought a woman with thick, long naturally curly hair was sitting on the couch next to me.  It was only for an instant and then everything came back to normal.  What the heck is that??  Anybody else have these scuddling little creatures?  I have seen these guys for 20 years.  I don't believe it's my imagination.  It serves no purpose and I seldom tell anyone about it because it sounds soo silly.

Hello to everyone who is following this site!   ;  I have been busy writting in another post here lately and only tonight, I started to read some of the others. I've had a few experiences with spirits...ghost forms....but none with scuddling little creatures. I think the most memorable experience that I have had happened about 10 years ago. I was married at that time.....Alysia who writes here, knows alot about this already!!!!   ;D.......I was awakened this one night from a good sleep, by the blankets on the far end of the bed being tugged at. This was happening on my ex's side of the bed. I sat up, thinking that one of my kids had come into the room and was trying to get my attention without waking 'him' up. But there was no one there. I thought that I must have been imagining the whole thing. I went back to sleep and not long later, the same tugging woke me up again. It was a stong tugging....definitely got my attention this time....it almost seemed frantic. I looked about...still saw no one and then I got kinda scared.....it took me awhile before I could fall asleep again. Oh I guess it must have been an hour or so later, after I fell asleep for the second time.....that I was again awoke....only this time it wasn't by the tugging on the blankets......LOL.....it was the hollering and cursing that was coming out my now ex's mouth!!!!!   LOL......he had gotten up to go to the bathroom....and in the dark, he tripped over a large black garbage bag that was full of ironing!!!!!!! LOL.....how it got there, I have no idea....because it had been on the far side of the room in a corner......it had been moved by a spirit (I would assume)...and placed strategically in the path that he would take from his side of the bed.....and he darn near broke his neck because his head hit the corner of the dresser when he tripped over the bag and fell!!!! heheheheee...yes, I am laughing!! I don't remember now what he might have done that day...but as ususual, it must have been something bad to get a spirit on his case!!!!   ;)

Hi again! Yes i can feel them when they are around, They are a very possitive and energetic thought influence! Which is very calming if you understand what they are if you dont they can scare a little! I love them around but try not to let them influence me too much as this can be very tireing i think they drain a little energy from people having a good time! I have many photos and hope to get many more! They only arrived at my house since i started my own search for the knowledge or truth! They can be captured by digital camera when around and this can be a very calming, enlightning and euphoric experience

Hi, I am new here. I have just recently within the last couple of years became very interested in all of this. I have never seen a
spirit but I have alot of strange things that happen around my house. I used to just dismiss them but lately it seems to be more and more. And when
my youngest son who was 4 last year came to me and said that there was a man laying on his bed, I started to wonder more and more. He looked
very confused about how and why this man was laying on his bed. I took him by the hand and we went to check it out. When we got there, he looked very puzzled and asked me "Where did they guy go?" I have toys that go off in the middle of the night and many other strange happenings. I've always just dismissed them but I seem to be feeling like there is something in my house. I have lived here for 11 years and nothing bad or extreme has ever happened. I wonder if someone is trying to get my attention though sometimes. I had an experience a couple of weeks ago, I was awoken in the middle of the night, about 2:30 am because I felt someone lay a blanket or something across my chest. Like someone was covering me up. I thought it was my son coming in to get in bed with me and laid his blankie down on me first. But when I opened my eyes, there was no one there. I just sat for a moment and then got up to go get a drink of water. I went back to bed and was laying on my side, my back to the door, but I felt the presence of someone walking in the room. I turned over to look because again I thought it was my son or my husband but no one was there. It kinda freaked me out a little. My computer is also in my bedroom and my printer made a noise right after that. I finally decided to ignore it and go back to sleep. It has stuck with me for a couples weeks though now. I keep thinking about it. Any thoughts on what might be going on? Thanks

I had a dream, and then I was somehow sucked out of this dream, having a feeling of a pleasurable cool wind inside me, and found me back in bed in my physical body, but my body was still asleep. Then I very strongly felt a presence, someone, entering my room from my door (I too lied with the back to the door), then this someone laid him/herself behind me and melted with me. Then I stood up, astonished and puzzled, and wrote it down. Recently, I had a dream, and from that dream I entered my real room, in which I was sleeping, and that sorta changed my consciousness state, I felt the same cool breeze within me, mainly in the the upper middle of my back, and then I had an OBE. My explanation now for the first incident is, after reading Robert Bruces "Astral Dynamics", that this entity which entered my room, actually was a part of me that was still traveling around, and returned when I was about to fully wake up.

 So, some occurings one might interprete as ghosts/spirits, might be experienced not in a physical state, but when the body is sleeping and the consciousness is still awake, so that one falsely interpretes that something is going on in the physical world. About the other things you mentioned, toys turning on itself and printer noises, I don't know. Children, as often is reported, have a better sight into nonphysical reality even when fully awake in the physical.

Odd occurrences in my previous residence are part of why I sought out this site a few years ago. Odd electrical occurrences are common in my new residence as well.  Sometimes I have seen what appear to be apparitions, although not lately. I have no explanations for these things, but there is something more than imagination going on in my life, I can guarantee you that.

I think something is requiring your attention. So pay attention, but relax, and try not to be fearful of it.

There is light and love all around us and within us and with that awareness you cannot be harmed.

Hi Blink, thanks for the sharing and advice. I am new here but have read for several days now on all of this. I must say I am intrigued. I cannot quit reading. With all of the reading I have also found a peace and love that I have not felt before. I am not fearful. I am very excited for what life holds. I do have a question maybe you or someone could answer for me. What is PUL? I keep reading that but I don't know what it is. Thanks again!

I really wish I could see one clearly and physically but I'm pretty certain I've had dreams with deceased people involved. I have my doubts that it could just be a dream but of course I'm open to the possibility it could have been really them communicating with me or being involved in my dream story  :-/

I have seen some ghostly apparitions open eyed but more commonly I see clairvoyantly with closed physical eyes by looking thru the brow centre in light  trance . I believe all humans can develop clairvoyance over time . The most common way spirits begin to be seen by the newly clairvoyant is in a bathroom , by a bed or in dreamstate.

Hi Caseys- wolf  I have seen my dad and my aunt josephine since they died and King Henry the V111 as well and sometimes i see spirit visionally and sometimes in my mind.
