Title: what to believe
Post by tradergirl on Feb 9th, 2005 at 3:43pm
I have grown up in a world where the afterlife is a reality, to the point that I have been affraid.  I was rasied with meditiation, OBE and several other "new age" ideals...I was married to a Baptist for 7 years and attended a COG church - I left that facility because I was discruntled by how rediculous the demands on the memeber became...now, I am in a relationship with someone that is agnostic...I'm sort of struggling with my own spiritualality and was looking for info...
I know for a fact that there are things that I have seen and things that I have felt that there is no explanation for...
just looking for some insight...
Thanks!

What you believe is irrelevant … but you must believe!

My guess is that the Baptist never had any New Age type experiences, but he probably had some “religious” ones.   WHY??  Because he believed in religion,  at least his religion.

The agnostic probably never had any “religious” experiences because he doesn’t believe.

If you believe in New Age,  So be it!  Don’t look for proof … the only proof you
y should need is within  you.  Just BELIEVE!

Remember … As you believe,  So shall it be…
This has been my experience, and continues to be my phil9osophy

Submitted for your consideration…

Hi, Tradergirl, and welcome.

I was heavily involved in evangelical Christianity (Baptist etc.) for much of my life, but somehow I have been brought to a much wider understanding of truth and life. I read a lot and I experience God's goodness in so many ways.

I feel that this is an important time in your life, a time when you're opening up to new and good things. Your guides and helpers (we all have them and they help us grow as we want to grow) will bring things into your awareness that will broaden your experiences and brighten your spirit.

Read this board, read Linn's board (http://www.spiritlinnusa.com/linns_forum/), read Bruce's four - no, make that five - books and see where the universe leads you. Joys await...
