Title: Evidence or Coincidence??? Post by Sydnei on Feb 1st, 2005 at 10:07pm
Hi, Everyone!
It has been a long time since I have posted, and I would like to share an experience with you. I shared this on another Board and a friend (thank you, Herb!) suggested (rightly so) that I post it here, too. It came out of a series of dreams I had 2 nights ago...I will not report the dreams as they were not particularly special. However, there was one thing that came out of them that might be special. In one of the dreams (I was quite lucid) I was with my mom and, amongst the other things she told me, she mentioned "I don't like slate." I was confused, and thought perhaps she was talking about a kind of fish as we were in a restaurant. I asked her about this, and she told me she couldn't talk about it now and would explain later. Well, the day after this, I was talking with my father who has just moved into a new home in Arizona (where my parents have lived for a few months out of the year for the last 15 years). He is describing it and he tells me "it has slate floors...not everyone likes slate floors, but I do." I didn't make the connection then...but it hit me last night that this could be a form of evidence that my mom really did communicate with me!!! I have already asked for further verification from her...and am anxiously waiting. I am so excited as this is my first brush with receiving any evidence! Will keep you posted! With love, Sydnei |

Sydnei,
So often it the little things that give us the first hints of verification. Your mom is a smart lady! Her remark, during the dream, got your attention enough to notice and wonder about it without causing doubt to come up. If the nature of the "little thing" had caused you to doubt during the experience it would have been easy to blow it off and not even remember it later. Crafty woman! "she told me she couldn't talk about it now and would explain later." Very interesting way she explained later! Thanks for sharing your experience and I'm sure your mom has more little things in mind. Bruce |

Dear Bruce ~
Thank you so much for your input...you offered me a perspective that I had not considered! Indeed I probably would have blown off the comment had it been presented in a different way! Boy...am I loking forward to more "little things"! :D Love, Sydnei |

Why is the spirit world so cryptic in their communications ? I don't understand the need for the craftiness...why not be upfront and say "your dad is okay with the slate floors in his new house in Arizona but I don't like them"...
I hear this stuff and I also hear that the spirit-folk on the other side are hard at work to harness the Internet as a mode of communication between the living and the dead. What will we get then - cryptic emails ? btw, am I the only one who has heard of the Internet as a mode of communication between the living and the dead ? Peace. |

I don't think....hmmm....that it was a ghost. but was wondering if anyone else here got strange letters in their bulk mail folders......I would open these things, right, just in order to click on "unsubscribe" I'm one of those people who detest advertisements and don't answer the phone, etc. so u sorta have to speed read the thing as your lookin for unsubscribe...I would see some phony ad for whatever product, various products which clearly they had no intention of asking me to buy it, as there no links or way to purchase whatever... then as I would scroll down there would be this totally unrelated paragraph of words, like a sort of pep talk about my life, how I should relax, etc. some of the things it said made sense I'm relunctant to say. I got maybe a dozen of these uncannily right on readings made seemingly for me personally. theres never a way to unsubscribe and when you click on reply you can't reply, theres no address. whoever this person is, they are trying to be helpful in a very cute way thru bulk mail! some bulk mail cannot even be reported as spam either I've noticed. but it's not spam anyway. it's just cute! |

Alysia ~
You are so right about wanting this for so long! And regarding the bulk mail, I have received weird things in mine, but not like what you are describing. Sounds like you are receiving some information intended to help you, hmmm. Mairlyn ~ Thank you, again, for your support! Raj ~ I never heard of spirit using the internet to communicate with us...but would love to read more about it. Love to all, Sydnei |

I think what Raj is talking about is the sort of thing that is in the new movie White Noise with Micheal Keaton. The movie is all about people who lose loved ones and then hear their voices in white noise, such as radio or television static. In the movie things get violent (meaning people who were cruel in life are also cruel in the Afterlife), but I think thats all just for dramatization. By the way, White Noise is based on fact, or so I've heard. Supposedly a woman who lost her daughter let her niece use their computer and while it was dialing the internet, a voice came through the static asking, "Where's Mom?". Just thought I'd give you guys something to chew on. I'm curious about it myself.

Alysia,
I know this is off topic, but in your response above you mention "bulk emails" and "unsubscribing". Well, I`m sorry, but you have fallen for one of the spammers oldest tricks. You should NEVER hit the unsubscribe button of any unsolicited emails you receive, as this merely informs the sender that the address to which the email was sent is "live", and, without a shadow of doubt, you will receive even more spam. Just totally ignore unsolicited emails. I`m not sure why you are delving into your "bulk" email folder to find "unsubscribe" buttons, as your email filtering software has already identified them as spam. Finally, I believe the messages you are trying to read something into, are all spam. Sorry. Regards, roger. :) |
