Indie film on JFK's Afterlife

Have you seen this film described below from its official website ?  What do you think of this premise?

"
Working Title:
The Limbo Kings

Logline: They’re not in heaven or hell…yet.

Short Synopsis:
Two men, trapped in an afterlife waiting room, are forced to deal with an event that led to both of their deaths, yet neither can move on until they resolve it.

Synopsis:
Jack, dazed and confused, is dead and shows up at an afterlife place known as the Retribution Center.  This is a place where people who have died under tragic circumstances show up to make things right, which enables them to move on to the next place where souls go.  Jack is put into a room with Lee, a man who is very hostile towards Jack (for reasons unknown to Jack).  The men are told that they cannot leave the room until they resolve the issue that led to both of their deaths. ..."

Haven't seen film, but it's premise is certainly strange.

Why would JFK need to go to a "retribution room" to resolve the issue that led to both his death and LHO?

LHO certainly harbored hostility toward Kennedy but it was one-sided.  Kennedy had no animus toward Oswald and in all likelihood didn't even know who he was.

And the issue that led Oswald to kill Kennedy was Oswald's support of communist Cuba, and his hatred of Kennedy when the Bay of Pigs attack was carried out with the support and backing of the U.S., with the objective (which failed) of overthrowing Castro.

So.....the scenario of the film just doesn't compute with reality.

If the two men were enemies maybe there would be at least a shred of credibility to the film's premise.  I would chalk it up to artistic license and nothing more.

It could give some wrong impressions of the afterlife. Now there are going to be recently deceased people who believe they have to go through such a process.
